Outside was an unexpected gift of rain, as the rain had washed the street clean. The wet season didn't generally start for another fortnight but the skies don't lie. It wasn't a mean rain either, the type that got everyone wet without filling the rain barrels. It was the type that got the streams running with pristine water from the mountains.

Suddenly, the temperature had dropped noticeably in the past few days. These clouds had already gathered for over 10 days, and they were waiting to spill over. Now, they blotted out the sky as they formed curtains of overwhelming rain, hard enough that it was even difficult to open one’s eyes. The onset of rain and a northern wind had made it icy. With no break in the greyness above the chance of a let up was slim to zero. It was going to be a rainy day and no amount of pleading with the gods was going to change that. In other words, rain will offers a continuous cycle.

Meanwhile, as Shen Wei kneeling sat on the damp cemented earth, his entire body was soaked in this cold and unforgiving shower of rain, his bright and clean professor uniform was now stained with water as he let the rain fell on his bodies, wetting his hair.

Half an hour later the starboard engine finally sparked to life as the wind pushes on the car to no avail. The car is going forwards and nothing but a blessed tragedy can change that. The tires make it's monotonous hiss over the rain-washed road.

Thus, after parking, Zhao YunLan got off the car and moved forward until he was before the gates.

"Shen Wei!"

The door of the car immediately opened a tiny crack, Zhao YunLan's aggressive and furious expression stuck out a little as he furiously shouted Shen Wei's name.

Later that day, it's only had one hour left until 7 pm, until Shen Wei needed to show himself at his apartment bungalow…

Zhao YunLan began by preparing dinner. The banality of cooking calmed his nerves, but when that was done, his heart started to shrink thinking about the reality; Shen Wei would return at any moment.

He planted himself on the living room sofa, his ears tuned toward the sounds of cars outside the apartment. He felt like he was no different from a fish on the chopping block, just waiting for that fatal blow from a knife.

Time slowly passed until it was 6:58 pm and Shen Wei still had not shown himself despite the time he got off work. He started work at 8:00 am and would usually get off at 5:30 pm. He hardly ever joined any social gatherings. It was quite strange for Shen Wei to not find him home at this hour.

Thus, he had no idea where to deposit himself to look for him.

Every few minutes he check to see whether Shen Wei had returned or not. If he hadn't, he would sigh in defeat and close his eyes again. After so many repetitions, he was rather tired from being so tense, so he crashed down and look for him.

During that time, he come up with an idea to search for him, first, at the University but we was already not in there anymore. He check his own apartment but it was still lock. Going to Dixing seems a fatal idea, so he use his natural spiritual energy to detect where he could be and he sense him at his parents home.

At this moment, his white shirt had long been drenched in the rain. His white long sleeve rolled on his elbow stains formed abstract art on the fabric.

Zhao YunLan shocked as he turned around walking towards Shen Wei, "You really are insane, aren't you!? I was wondering why you haven't come home and you were here, are you playing hide and seek?"
