Epilogue IV

Zhao and Shen Wei went to a very famous street food alley in the Singhai province. They tried all of the famous local snacks, and finally regained their energy as he relished in the delightful flavours.

It was just that they was the only lone figure walking amidst the alley that was bustling with activity.

Shen Wei's mind couldn't help but think of Zhao. When they came for a honeymoon to Singhai province, they had suddenly awoken in the middle of the night and left their hotel to tour the hours of darkness of this unfamiliar province. They had travelled all the way from the Singhai hotel to the Yangtze River Bridge.

The taxi driver said, "You young lads can bring your girlfriends here for a walk in the future."

Zhao looked at Shen Wei before smiling sarcastically at the taxi driver, "He's my boyfriend, and my wife."

The driver didn't take Zhao's words seriously and heartily laughed, "Then you guys will be together forever if you walk around this place once."

Zhao raised a brow, "What? Is there an allusion to the Yangtze River Bridge?"

"Not an allusion, you could say it's more like a legend. They say that if you young couples walk across the bridge once at night, then you'll be together forever." The taxi driver explained briefly.

Neither of them actually believed in such things, but they still earnestly made the trip hand in hand that night as they faced the cold wind head on.

There were actually many things in the past years that Zhao could no longer remember clearly, with the pure exception of that one night in the KunLun Mountain when he first met Shen Wei. He could even clearly recollect their sweaty, ice cold palms as they held hands after Shen Wei as a young ghost king that time keeps following him like a loyal fanboy and accompanying him ever since.

From then and until now... Nothing has changed.

"Do you believe in that taxi driver Xiao Wei? About the legend of Yangtze river?" Zhao YunLan frowned. Shaking his head, Zhao YunLan's inner voice retorted, "No! I am the main lead! I dont believe in it. I will be in control of my own destiny and direct and produce my very own version of love."

Shen Wei shake his head lightly after hearing that childish motto from his husband.

And the story will keep on going as long as they have each other's back. Love conquers all. And neither Shen Wei and Zhao YunLan knows that earnestly.

This is the final ending. I'm sorry I'm so itchy fom writing First Love and can't even think of much more mushiness to write as an ending. Since I've wrote that much from the previous updates, I hope everyone would feel satisfied and contented with the way I ended it so shortly.
