Here it is! I hope you guys like it! When I post this I'll see what kind of reaction I get or how I feel about it, then I'll make a decision about deleting 'Reason For Fear' parts.

Thomas called the sides in for a meeting but none of them knew what for. Virgil was extra anxious for a reason he couldn't pinpoint, but didn't say anything.

"Ok guys I really don't know how else to say this... But I've been really depressed latsoothe the youngest." Thomas drew out slowly. All the saides were dead quiet staring at Virgil.

"Damnit! I'm sorry I'm sorry I should've-"

"Virge, it's okay kiddo," Patton tried to sooth

"No, it's not. I know it's not. Thomas shouldn't have to feel this way just because I was lazy." Virgil groaned, clearly starting to spiral.

"Um.. Can someone tell me what's going on, here?" Thomas broke in.

All the sides continued to stare at Anxiety, meanwhile Thomas was looking back and forth between all of them.

"Virgil, do you want to tell him or should we?" Patton whispered.

"I can tell him, just give me a second." Virgil took in a few shakey breaths and tried to even them out, failing.

"Ok Thomas," he begins, "we are you four main sides: logic, morality, creativity, and anxiety. But there's more to a person then their main sides. Everyone has sides to themselves they prefer not to know about... Like Deceit, he's part of the 'Dark Sides'. And um..." Another shaky breath. "Depression... Is one of those sides."

"Ok, what does that have to do with you?" Thomas asked.

"Well, I am a 'bad side'... But by the events in your life, I was chosen to be a main side... But it made the other 'bad sides' really mad. They all want control over your decisions, they want to be the main sides. Having that many bad qualities being in control is really dangerous.. So I have to keep them in the subconscious, so they don't get that control over you."

"So why is this... Depression side.. Coming out now more than any others?" Thomas asked carefully.

"Depression... He- well, he-.." The other sides could see the pain in his eyes, pity written plain on their faces. Virgil started choking on his words, shaking, his eyes welled up.

"It's ok kiddo, take all the time you need." Patton soothed, trying to get the distressed side to copy his breathing.

"It's fine.. I'm fine." Virgil took a few deep breaths before shakily continuing. "Me and Depression have a... History... To say the least." Seeing that this was to much for the youngest side to bear at the moment, Logan intervened.

"Thomas, as mental disorders go, depression and anxiety are often linked; someone who has one as a main side most often has the other as one also. So in the subconscious, the two are created together as opposed to being seperate entities, while they most often part over time, some do not. Virgil here is clearly his own entity, but it is nearly impossible for he and Depression to not interact." Logan explained calmly while Patton continued to try and ease Virgil, still in obvious distress.

"Ok, I think I understand, so since it's Virgil's job to 'keep in the Dark Sides' why can't he just push them back if they... Get out? Or something..?" Thomas questioned.

"I would love to, but since 'Dark Sides' are more desperate to gain control over you, if they get out, it takes much more effort and energy to put them back.
