Truth or Dare? - Klance

Chapter Five

Keith's POV

"I win, McClain." That's all I say.

I cross my arms and face the team. All of them have faces of shock or (in Pidge's case) glee on their faces.

"Is something wrong?"

"No-" Shiro says. He seems to be choosing his words carefully. "It's just...nobody expected this much-" He pauses again. "Passion- to go into that"

I can feel my temper rising.

"So?" I say "We did what you wanted! I won, so this can all be over now!" Anger is clouding my mind, I don't even know what I'm saying. "Do you want me to say that I liked kissing him? That doesn't matter! It took a toll on both of us!"

I hear footsteps. Lance is running, down the corridor, out of sight.

"Lance wait!" I quickly grab his shirt and jacket (both of which he forgot) and race after him. I see him round a corner, and I give chase, still clutching his jacket and shirt in a tight ball. He's heading to his room, I know it.

CHAPTER SIX

Lance's POV

I'm racing around corners and down hallways, trying to get to my room ASAP. I don't care about what happened. I don't care that I left my shirt and jacket. I just need to find solitude. I open my door and land with a thump on my bed. I'm safe-I think.

"Lance?" A muffled voice from outside the door startles me.

"Lance, I know you're in there!" It's Keith. The last person I want to see right now. "What do you want Keith?"

"Just, to talk." The door slides open, and I turn my flushed face towards him. "You forgot your shirt and jacket." I motion for him to set them down on the table.

"So- uh- did you like it?" Keith sits down on the bed next to me. "Like what? The, uh, kiss?" Keith grabs my hand. "So are we like- a thing now?" He asks me. "I mean- after all, that."

I consider this. "Uh- yeah? I guess so. Do you- want to?" He nods. "But no-" He looks at me gesturing with his hands. "Oh- no none of that. Not yet" I'm not ready.

"So we're boyfriends now," I say, looking at him. Keith smiles. "Yup."

It's official. I lean in, kissing him. Right on the lips.
