Chapter Seventeen
"I need to speak to the Headmistress," Victoria said to straight-laced secretary, whom she found out later was named Emma Ashton. She immediately rushed in the office after she saw that indeed her name is on the List.
"Just knock on the door, Miss Rostova," Emma replied calmly. It was as if she had expected her to come.
Victoria nodded. She knocked on the door and once she had received the signal she walked in.
"Oh, Victoria," Headmistress Griffin looked up with a surprise expression on her face. "Why do I have the pleasure of your visit?"
"Why did you it?" Victoria asked.
"What, dear?" The headmistress looked at her waiting for her to answer but Victoria could see that the headmistress already knew what is talking about. She just wanted Victoria to plainly say it.
"Why did you place my name on the list?" Victoria said. "I thought, you understand the fact that I don't want any hassle this year. Besides, we had an agreement that my grades are private until I say so."
"Your parents are coming." The headmistress said sympathetically.
All color drained from her face as what the headmistress said sink in.
"What?" Victoria asked. "When?"
"During the Visitation day," The headmistress said confused. "I thought you knew? Your parents called."
"I didn't," Victoria said. "They hadn't said anything the last time we talked, which was last night."
"Well," Headmistress Griffin standing up. "They called yesterday afternoon, dear."
Victoria was shell shock with the news.
Visitation Day was that coming Saturday. She only had less than a week before everyone would found out on who she really is. She knows she is going to have say good-bye to her wig and her contact lens because of it.
"I guess," Victoria sighed. "It's really is time. No denying it now. They are really coming."
The headmistress nodded.
Victoria gave the headmistress a small smile before she stood up. "I guess, I'll go now, Headmistress. I'm sorry to waste your time."
"It's okay, dear," she replied. "I'm always here to help. Remember that."
Victoria nodded before she walked out of the office.

Victoria was found seated underneath a shade of the tree that afternoon. As soon as the bell rang for dismissal, she walked out of the room completely ignoring Charles who was seated beside her during their class in Arts.
She had a book opened on her lap. But despite what people can see, she wasn't reading. She had been repeating the same sentence in her head but she could-the words just seemed to float around her head. She couldn't concentrate on what she was reading. All she could think about was the glooming idea of her parents on Visitation Day.
It's not that they are going to embarrass her. Her parents are probably the most sophisticated people she ever knew. Not counting her grandmother, and that is outside the point. Just the idea of the people in her school knowing who she is, is a nightmare she doesn't want to live in.
It would be a long Visitation Day. Everyone would finally know her.
The thought of her well-kept secret going out after three years is refreshing and scary at the same time. For once, she can finally be who she is. She doesn't have to hide. And despite how she would completely deny this, but the notion that she can rub it in both Parks' that she is far superior than them is a chance she could not refused.
