A Vampire's Bride

A girl with long brown hair and beautiful cerulean blue eyes in a red and black knee length dress with black detached sleeves walked through the city of London, England at sundown is on her way home.

This girls name is Katherine Wolfe. Her fathers name is Daniel Wolfe and he is the strongest and most capable vampire hunter in the city. Kate's mother was killed ten years ago in a vampire attack when Kate was seven. Today Katherine was turning 17 today and was running late for curfew.

Her father had made sure that his daughter was out no later than ten minutes before sundown after his wife was killed. He was out every other night, searching and killing vampires. His goal was to find the vamp that killed her mother.

Katherine ran through the streets toward her house and stopped next to an alleyway. She knew that by going through the alley would make her at risk to be attacked by a vampire. But her father would have her grounded for at least a month if she wasn't home by curfew. She did not want that. Not at all.

She ran into the alley and turned a corner. She stopped when she heard a loud yell. She peeked her head around and had to stifle a scream. A woman was on the ground, surrounded by ghouls.

Ghouls are dead bodies that a vampire reanimates to do there biding. It was cruel, really. Katherine saw the vampire standing next to his ghouls. He was facing away and all Katherine saw was his long dark hair that went down to his mid back and was pulled back with a blue ribbon and the back of his black cape. Katherine stepped back and accidentally (and loudly) stepped into a puddle.

The vampire froze. So did Katherine. He turned towards her and their eyes met. His were a dark forest green. Katherine turned and ran the other way. She turned a corner and hit her head on a windowsill.

Falling backwards, two arms caught her and the last thing she saw before everything went black was green eyes and a soft voice that said

"What beautiful blue eyes."

KatherinePOV

I woke up with the feeling of silk beneath my fingers. I blinked a few times and I saw a face about two inches away.

"HOLY-" I screamed and fell off the other side of the bed.

"Oh crap! I am so~ sorry!" the girl said in a panic and ran to my side.

"Are you okay?" she asked and helped me up.

"I-i'm fine." I said and noticed that I was in an unfamiliar room in a silk nightgown. What happened last night? I was late for curfew...THE ATTACK!! I was beginning to panic and the girl had to calm me down.

"It's okay miss. You're gonna be fine. Master likes you, so he won't kill you."

"You're not helping. And who's Master?"

"Master Nathaniel. I work with one other servant here at the mansion. He suddenly walked through the door with you yesterday around sundown. Oh!  My name's Lily. I'm a green witch. My family has worked with Master Nathaniel for over three generations."

"My names Katherine. Call me Kate. Why aren't I dead?"

"I don't know. Your the first person Master has brought home in the whole time I've been here. Now, let's get you dressed, then head to lunch."

She dragged me to the closet and hands me a dress. It was pink silk with long sleeves and went down to my ankles. The bottom of the dress had red lace and there was more red lace around the waist, the neck line and at the end of the sleeves. Lily took my hair and put it into a bun with a flower clip. To top it off she gave me a pair of red pumps with ribbons that wrapped around my legs like ballet slippers.

We walked down the hall and made it to a large doorway. Lily opened it and inside was a large dining room. The table had many chairs but only one other person was sitting down. He was about Lily's age and had a shock of white hair. He heard them come in and looked up. He had dark brown eyes. He smiled and stood up.

"Hi! My name is James. Nice to meet you." he greeted

"My name's Katherine. Nice to meet you."

"Master should be here soon. Come and sit."

I walked towards him and stepped on something. I fell backwards and yelped in surprise. Bracing for impact, I felt two arms grab my shoulders and pulled me back up. I opened one of my eyes and blinked. Forest green eyes stared at me and my face went red. The vampire had dark blue hair, pale skin and to me was very handsome. He helped me back to my feet and bent down to pick up a marble. I went a bit red when I saw it. Nathaniel smiled at me.

"Are you okay?"

"I-i'm f-fine. Thanks." STOP BLUSHING KATHERINE!!!

"That's good. Lets eat." he led me to the head of the table that had two chairs. I sat down next to him and James brought out the food. He got me chicken breasts and got Nathaniel some steak. Nathaniel also got a glass of O-positive blood. It reminded me that he was a vampire. I wanted to know why I was here but chose against it and started to eat.

The meal went well. Me and Nathaniel talked about many things and we got along fairly well. After the meal I went back to my room and realized something I never thought possible....

I think I was falling in love with my captor.
