This is it! It's almost 6pm and everyone is already getting ready. Everyone's already backstage rehearsing.
I take a deep breath as we get inside our dressing rooms.
The show will start an hour from now. So I sit in front of the mirror and start my touch up.
"I'm nervous" Lenzie sigh,
"Hey, don't be! I swear to god you're going to slay Carrie White" I smile at her,
"you think so??" She starts to smile,
"yes of course, Lenzie you're so talented! So it won't be a surprise if you're going to nail this night" I wink at her,
She smile and reach my hand and squeeze it.
"Thank you" she smile,
"you're always welcome" I smile back,
I'm finally done with my hair and take a deep breath as I start my vocalization.
"🎶 lala la la la la 🎶" I start to sing,
"uhm what are you doing??" Lenzie ask,
"I'm doing a vocalization to you know improve my voice and to keep me from being nervous, you should try it" I smile,
Suddenly we hear a knock on the door. But I ignore it and continue my vocalization.
"I thought I hear an angel singing"
I turn around and see Reid walking towards me holding a rose.
"Reid, you came" I smile,
"of course! I wouldn't miss this for the world" He smile,
He sits beside and smile as he stares at me.
"break a leg Diva" Reid winks as he hands me the rose,
"thanks they're beautiful" I smile as I take the rose and smell it,
He winks as he walks towards the door.
"I smell something Elie" Lenzie roll her eyes,
"you smell what??" I ask,
"trouble" she sigh,
"what do you mean by trouble??" I ask again,
"well you let Reid fall for you when it's clear you like Christian" She smile,
"you don't know that" I roll my eyes,
"You think I'm stupid?? Well I'm not, I'm Asian. Besides I know you Elizabeth Cole, you've break more hearts than most Fuckboys" She sigh as she's applying blush-ons on her face,
"thanks for being a supportive friend Lenzie" I roll my eyes as I apply powder on my face,
"I mean seriously Elie. Reid is a nice guy, he's our friend. He literally saved you from those Tarantulas. The least he deserve is you breaking his heart" she sigh,
Lenzie's got a point. Reid doesn't deserve to be hurt. Or at least being broken.
"Okay, I'll tell him tomorrow. But doesn't he still hurt when I tell him right now??" I ask,
"The sooner he knows the sooner he'll move on" Lenzie sighs,
"okay forget about me, how's you and Ace??" I ask,
"we'll we're friends" she roll her eyes,
"so when are you guys making it official??" I ask excitedly,
"not gonna happen" She sigh as she apply mascara on her eyes,
"why not??" I ask,
"uhm because I don't like him, I mean I like him as a friend but I can't see him more than that" She sigh,
"you know what Lenzie you never had a boyfriend before. You always sleep with boys but never had a real relationship and that's depressing. This is your chance girl!! I mean come on!! He's hot" I smile at her,
"okay, Elie thanks for the concern and stuff but He's not my type okay??" She sigh,
"then who's your type?? Oh my gosh!! You like Reid do you?? That's why you're so concerned with him!! Don't worry I'm gonna tell him tomorrow! I promise" I wink at her,
"Elie, Reid is also not my type" she sigh,
"then who is your type??" I ask,
And then she closes her eyes and she faces me as she opens them.
My Heart beats faster than ever. Maybe I'm a little nervous oh I am so nervous. She's scared to tell me. She's hiding something. We've been best friends for years now so I know her well enough.
"There's this gang named Scorpion right?? I'm in love with someone there" She takes a deep breath and smile at me,
Shit!! Is she in love with Christian?? No she's not, oh god please she's not.
"of course I know! Reid and Christian are from Scorpion remember" I fake a smile,
And she smile weakly.
Oh My Gosh she's in love with Christian.
"you know how this goes right?? We won't be friends anymore. Because I betrayed you" She sigh,
And then I lost it.
Tears starts to fall from my eyes and I begin to cry.
I am ready to let go of Christian. Because whatever happens Lenzie is my best friend and I can't ditch her for a guy I don't want to.
"what are you talking about Lenzie??" despite the tears I try to smile,
"Emma, her name is Emma and I'm in love with her. Elie I'm a lesbian" She close her eyes and starts to cry hard,
And I'm speechless.
I can't move, I can't talk I just stare at her.
Well it turns out not what I expected and surprised.
"Lenzie why didn't you tell me??" I'm still in shock,
"because I'm scared of you disowning me. I'm scared that you'll be bitchy to me and do things like what you did to Ailene or whatever her name is" She cry so hard,
Emotional, I run towards her and hug her.
"sssshhhh I'm not gonna disown you. I Love You so I'm sending you to conversion therapy" I smile,
"What??" She stares at me and I smile at her,
"I'm kidding!! I Love You So Much You Can Have My Slice Of Pizza Later!!" I hug her tight and she hugs me back,
"you are such a bitch Elizabeth Cole!! I Love You So Much" she cry,
"I Love you don't change okay?? Unless if you want to be a serial Killer then please change" We both giggle,
Suddenly the door open and Raymond gets in reminding everyone to please be ready.
And so we did.
