With his left hand, Taehyung silently removes his belt and wraps it around Jungkook's left shoulder, the most injured part of his body. His right arm is wrapped around Jungkook's waist, supporting him. The younger's head is resting on Taehyung's shoulder limply.

"I-I can't treat your wounds," Taehyung sobs, watching Jungkook bleed through the belt.

"Don't cry," Jungkook breathes, barely moving his mouth due to exhaustion. He can't think of anything else to say, so he remains silent.

"Does it hurt?" Taehyung asks.

Jungkook nods, wincing at the pain of the movement. Taehyung carefully brings Jungkook closer to his body so that they can both feel the heat of each other.

He is now sitting on the elder's lap, his head still resting on the elder's shoulder.

"Better?" Taehyung whispers.

"Yeah."

He breathes out heavily, "Why is he punishing us so harshly? We only kissed."

Jungkook hums in agreement.

Taehyung leans back on a wall and they both fall into an unbreakable sleep.

----

"Get up. GET UP! GET UUUUUUP!" the admiral shrieks in Taehyung and Jungkook's ears, making the pair flinch into awareness.

Taehyung stands up almost immediately, helping Jungkook to do so too. Memories of yesterday make him tear up slightly.

"Please don't hurt Jungkook again. Please, I'm begging you. I'll do anything," he blurts out, supporting a struggling Jungkook.

"Anything?" Admiral Song bares her teeth, his eyes fire red.

"No," Jungkook breathes, punching Taehyung gently on the shoulder.

Taehyung takes one look at Jungkook's pure, innocent, chocolate brown doe eyes and firmly says,

"Yes."

The admiral's smile gets larger. He grasps Taehyung's wrist and pulls him out of the room, a wide-eyed Jungkook following them. The younger tugs at Taehyung's sleeve, in attempt to get the admiral's filthy hands of him.

They enter an almost pitch-black room, it's almost blinding because of the contrast to the bright white room they were in a few minutes ago.

Even though it's dark, Jungkook can practically see the admiral's smirk as he says,

"Let's see how good you are at fencing, Kim."

"No!" Jungkook yells, "He hasn't had much training! You can't fight him! It's not fair!"

The admiral chuckles quietly, "That's the point! One less soldier shouldn't matter."

"What did we do so bad that we deserve this?" Jungkook cries, holding on to a silent Taehyung to prevent him from fighting.

Admiral Song remains silent and throws a sword to Taehyung, who is also silent.

"Taehyung, you're not actually thinking of doing this, right? Taehyung?" Jungkook mumbles, while the older bends down to reach for the sword near his feet.

Jungkook makes loud cries of disapproval when Taehyung steps towards the admiral, both hands clutching the sword that is held in front of him, level with his eyes.

He can barely see the admiral.

Jungkook is still in disbelief. He will not allow Taehyung to fight the admiral and almost certainly die.

What should I do?

He looks around the dark room, desperate to find a way to get Taehyung out of this mess.

He sees a dark figure a slight distance from him. It looks like it could be a weapon. He squints to see what the figure is, and, as he thought, it is a weapon - a big metal hammer.

It's the only thing he can do. Yet it's the scariest thing he can do. He has never in his life attempted to hurt anyone physically.

He's shaking just at the thought of it. But he'll do anything for Taehyung.

If it goes wrong - he doesn't want to think about what could happen.

The admiral takes his first strike at Taehyung, which misses him by half a millimeter. Jungkook winces, then he quickly edges towards the hammer. The admiral is too occupied in attempting to kill Taehyung to notice.

The blade flashes as the admiral makes his second attack. Taehyung blocks the attack, making a piercing clang when the two swords met. The admiral croons,

"Hm. Not bad, Kim. But that was just the starter. Now for the mains."

Jungkook swiftly grabs the hammer, his heart thumping like it is trying to escape his cage of a chest.

Do it, Jungkook. Do it now, or Taehyung will be killed

He hesitates. His arms ache from the weight of the hammer. He shouts at himself,

Now, Jungkook, NOW!

Tears are forming in his eyes. Can he do this? The admiral spins his sword at Taehyung, glaring at him. He raises it and lets out a shrill scream as he attacks. Taehyung, intimidated by the admiral, is frozen.

There is no way he can survive this.

He closes his eyes, waiting for the pain, waiting to die.

Except it doesn't come.

He opens one eye, confused.

He gasps at what he sees.

Jungkook is standing there, hammer in hand, behind the admiral, who is lying across the floor at Taehyung's feet, a pool of blood under his head.
