Chapter Nineteenth

"Lei and jing"

doing my routine eat my breakfast, dress up for school and school.

Its a normal day for Darren to drop me off, I didn't speak the whole ride distancing myself from my brother from the incidents of last night. I want to get out quickly but Darren auto locked all the doors suddenly. This made me look in surprise.

"Why are you ignoring me- are you ignoring me?" He said with  a quick change of sentence, I just look out the window refusing to answer his question.

"No" I did plain refusing to look at him.

"Look. ." he said grabbing my face to face him, I flinch at his touch. Remembering the incidents of last night made an awkward skinship and made us think that it means something more. He notice my uncomfortable look and quickly let go of my face looking down.

"Whatever I've said. . last night" he mumbled. "I just wish we could still be the same."

'I do too. . .'

"Do you meant it? What you've said last night?" I asked him still looking straight. "Do you even know what you've said last night?" I ask him now looking at him.

"I mean it" he said plain, as I feel flustered, my stomach switching up and down, and it is so wrong. I cannot love this shitty brother of mine, I mean I do love him, its not just that way!

"Okay." I said holding up my flustered expression. "I'm going to go. ." I said as I unlocked the door but it locked again.

I quickly spun around and "Darren what do-" I didn't even have to finish what I have to say when Darren lips crash into mine. It was only a soft peck but it felt like forever but soon he back out with a hue if red in his face.

"Bye" I mumbled.

'I thought I couldn't return his love back. .

"XIEN!" A loud voice echoed through my ears and I snapped back to reality. . I was day dreaming.

"Your spacing out" mom said.

"Oh" was the only thing I can say. They just shrug me and continued talking.

"As I was saying. ." mom started to talk to dad together with granny. I noticed Darren stayed quite eating his food. A I look at him I can't help but notice his facial features, sharp nose, beautiful brown eyes, pearl white teeth, and good physiques.

'So I was fantasizing about my brother earlier. . I'm disgusting' I thought as I mentally scolded myself. Darren notice my stare, and he also stared at me awkwardly.

"I told you picture will last longer my dear sissy." He said while eyeing me.

"Ah. . I'll probably stare at your picture later" I replied with sarcasm. While he just rolled eyes at me.

'I thought it'll probably be awkward. . but Darren never change he's so drunk it got him good. ' I smile to myself at that thought. 'That's right. . nothing should change. . until I make things right'

As usual Darren is dropping me off. "Bye really stupid brother" I said as I slammed the door shut.

"Bye super narcissistic child" he said and speed off.

"IM NOT NARCISSTIC!" I yelled to him. I sigh as I turn around I bumped into the wall.

"Ouch . ." I mean a person. I bumped into the one and only dao ming si.

"Good grief si" I said while stretching my arm out to him. "Just give me your bag already" I said while yawning a bit. But he just stared at me.

"What is your problem now?" I asked with slight irritation in my voice. "Its early in the morning to ruin someone's day okay" I said while rolling my eyes at him.

He stared at me intently before leaning in my height. "If I ever see you with a guy your going to get a punishment from me" he said. His tone dangerously low. For the first time I ever Si so enraged and after the treat he roughly handed me his bag.

I catch up to him. "Even if I was with my brother?" I said a bit struggling because of his bag.

"Brother?" He stopped at his tracks and eyed me. "You have a brother?"

"Yeah. . Darren" I said in a low tone.

"He's your brother!?" He exclaimed, eyes so wide from shock.

"I mean yea. . what could he be?" I asked him.

He stayed silent after a good minutes, before he laugh histerical. "That's right. . Hong Xien, Darren Hong. Its the same!" he said and laugh more. I just looked at him weirdly before walking away from him.

'Weird. .' I thought.

"Hoy! Slave wait for me!" Si yelled, I turned a round and make face at him and run for my life. Dao ming si following behind.

The bell rung once again, as I lazy walk up to the canteen mei duo together with xi men and dao ming so walk up to me.

"Hoy slave" si said eyeing me, treat me lunch.

"I'm sorry but I will never spend not a single penny on you. You got that!?" I snap back at him. I looked at them more closely and notice someone's missing.

"Where's lei?" I asked tip toeing looking behind them to see no one. "Is he still in class?" I ask lowering my feet and looking at the tree of them.

"Lei and jing. ." xi mean mumbled.

"What about them?"

"They left the other day when you left early for school" mei zuo finished.

"They already left!?" I exclaimed, as I light frown crept up my face. "I didn't even get to say good bye to lei."
