The tour was busy and sometimes the only time they got to spend time together was at night after the chaos of the day was over. Raven's growing belly was making life a little tougher to handle for her because being on her feet would cause everything to swell .But she was happy she was with her man watching him do what he loved to do as well as running stories for each place they stopped in.Her series had really taken off. Jordan was really finding his niche and his shows just improved almost daily from the tips he took from Miguel as well as the choreographer that was hired. She couldn't believe this was their life and it was a life that she would have missed out on had she continued to be such a bitch to him that night .She felt tears in her eyes and brushed them away with her hand as one of the babies kicked .You guys sure must be active in there today she spoke out loud .Another kick this one harder. Because you seem to be wantin to beat mama up she mumbled .Who's beatin mama up Jordan asked from behind her startling her .Your spawn she said grumpily rubbing her side .He chuckled .He leaned down Hey thing one and thing two its daddy take it easy on mama today will ya she smacked at him but he ducked his head grinning from ear to ear What? He inquired as innocently as he could muster .They are not things she chided him holding back a chuckle We can reserve that for when they hit terrible twos she told him Nah then they're little monster demon poop machines . He grimaced at the thought still grinning She swung he ducked again .Oh you! She teased as he moved himself securely out of her line of fire laughing

Raven was on the couch of the bus listening to Jordan work on new songs when she looked out the window and saw a familiar sign. "Welcome to Pennsylvania " she read aloud. "I didn't know we were coming here" she said excitedly to Jordan. "I wanted it to be a surprise and you better sit down and put those feet back up or the doc will bitch at you" Jordan said as he ducked the pillows Raven threw at him. "How long are we going to be here? If we have enough time I would like to show you the farm and the town I used to live in." she said hopeful. "We're here for a week baby. The next concert isn't for a couple of weeks so I arranged for us to spend a week here." Jordan informed her as he continued writing on a song. "I guess I better call my momma and tell her I'm in town." Raven thought out loud. Raven got up and went to the back of the bus to the bedroom to have a private conversation with her mother. The conversation didn't last long though. Her mother had to get to the church picnic pie booth. Raven was upset that her mother couldn't take a few minutes out of her day to talk to her only daughter. They arrived at the fairgrounds and parked inside the fair and expo center. The fair coordinator told them it was for safety. "You're a huge star here in Pennsylvania Mr. and Mrs. Knight." the coordinator told them as he tried to hide his excitement at meet them. "Wait both of us are stars here?" Raven asked. She was puzzled. "Oh yeah Mrs. Knight. You grew up in Mount Washington and now you're a famous writer and married to the hottest new star on the planet!" he could no longer hide the excitement from them. "I hate to ask but can I have y'alls autographs?" he asked hoping they would say yes. Both Jordan and Raven signed his fair pass and they posed for picture with him. He led them to the stage and left. Miguel met them on stage. "Hey Mr. Rising Star and Mrs. Rising Star. Boy this state is insane over the two of you. I've gotten calls from every single news station in the Newark area and three different newspapers. So do you want to do any interviews?" Miguel asked as he was writing an email to the Pennsylvania fair board to make sure the payment for Jordan was posted. Jordan and Raven looked at each other for a minute and Raven finally said "I'll only interview with WAVE 3 News. They make sure all the facts are correct before they air something. I used to watch them all the time." "I'll see about getting it scheduled." Miguel said matter of factly and walked away. Jordan had to prepare for the show that night so he went up to the stage while she sat next to the sound board and watched. In the middle of Jordan's second song she heard a familiar voice from behind her. "Ravenaroo is that you?" she jumped up and turned around to see her parents standing there with giant smiles on their faces. Raven ran to her mom and embraced her in a huge hug. "What about your daddy youngun?" her dad questioned. She gave him the same big hug she gave her mother. "What are y'all doing here?" she was puzzled. "We got this letter in the mail from Jordan and the tickets were in it. I'm so very glad to see you Ravenaroo. We've missed you so much since you moved." her mom told her. Jordan finished his song and joined them beside the stage. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Price. I'm Jordan. It's very nice to meet you." Jordan introduced himself to Raven's parents in the most polite way he could. Her dad shook his hand but didn't say a word. Her mom did the same but she said hello. Jordan felt as if he had offended them even though they just met. Jordan shook the feeling off and wrapped his arms around Raven. He felt her relax a bit and she let out a soft sigh. Her parents were shown to their seats by security as the show was about to begin. Raven looked into Jordan's beautiful eyes and sighed again. "It's going to be a long week with them". Jordan kissed her forehead but before he could say anything security showed up to escort him to the stage. She kissed him and wished him good luck. The show went perfect and the crowd cheered for two encores. Raven and Jordan made their way back to the bus and were surprised to find her parents sitting on the couch. "How did you get in here?" Raven asked. "Some man named Dave showed us to the bus." her dad said. Dave was the eager fair coordinator and Jordan was furious. "I'm going to call Miguel, I'll be right back." Jordan told Raven as he walked to the back of the bus. "So do you really think this is the best way to raise a child? Travelling all the time with no real home?" her mom drilled her. "You should have stayed here and not moved to that big city. Have you even talked to Dewey since you put him in prison and moved?" her dad added in. Luckily Jordan came back before she had a chance to answer. She could feel the anger rising up in her and she knew Jordan could sense it. "I've heard great things about you and your farm from Raven." Jordan said trying to get a conversation started but her parents were icy towards him. "I think we need to be heading home" her dad said coldly. They got up and gave Raven a disappointing look and left. Raven watched them walk out of the bay doors before she let her anger out. She screamed as loud as she could as the tears streamed down her face. Jordan was worried for her and the babies. He had not seen her that upset since Kennedy attacked her. "Baby talk to me" Jordan pleaded. "Let's sit here and talk." he led her to the couch. "Ugh! Now I remember why I left! They asked me if I've talked to my ex and if this is the best place to raise a child." she blurted out as the tears started flowing. "I'll show you my town but we're not going anywhere near their house and the sooner we leave the better." she said as she stormed into the bedroom. Jordan followed her to the bedroom where he found her doubled over leaning against the wall. "Baby what's wrong?!" Jordan asked as he rushed to her side to help her up. "Call the doctor. This pain isn't from them kicking. Something's not right." Raven said through her teeth. Jordan lay her on the bed and ran to call the doctor. It took about 10 minutes for the OB to get to Raven. She checked her over and said "you're having mild contractions sweetie. We need to get you to the hospital and get them stopped. I think you might be dehydrated again as well. I'll call for an ambulance to take you to a hospital. Do you know a good one around her?" the OB asked Raven knowing she was from the area. "Suburban is a great hospital." Raven barely got the words out before another wave of pain hit. She groaned and curled up tighter. Jordan curled himself up behind her and began rubbing her back. The ambulance arrived rather quickly and they whisked Raven off to the hospital. Once there she was met by her OB and Jordan along with several nurses. She didn't have to answer any questions because the OB did that for her. She was hooked up to an IV and was given a medication to stop the contractions. She was scared and Jordan could see it in her eyes. "Baby I'm so sorry I let my parents put the babies in danger. I didn't mean to. They just are so closed minded and I don't know how to respond to them. Please don't be upset with me baby, please." she begged as she sobbed. Dr. Johnston came in to inform Raven that she was being admitted for overnight observation. "Baby you need to go back to the bus. You have a busy day tomorrow and you need some sleep." Raven told Jordan with a sigh. "I'm not leaving your side. If you're here then I'm here. We're in this together." he reassured her. She was hooked up to two baby monitors to keep an eye on the contractions. She could still feel one every once in a while but they weren't as bad as they had been. She moved over in the hospital bed so Jordan could lay next to her. He climbed next to her and held her. He felt her relax and eventually fall asleep. He put his hand on her belly and gently rubbed it. "It's not time for you two to come into the world yet. You need to calm down now. Daddy and mommy love both of you so very much. You never forget that. Wyatt, Aislynne you are going to be so loved and spoiled when you're born. I can't wait for you to meet your grandma. Oh she's going to give you everything you ask for." he hadn't realized he was whispering out loud until he heard the nurse giggling at him. He looks up and apologized to her. "You don't have to apologize Hun. It's good to hear a father be so excited about their babies." she told him. The nurse checked the monitor to make sure the contractions had stopped and that the babies' heartbeats were good and left.

Jordan slipped from the bed and ventured into the hallway in search of coffee. Mr. Knight? A middle aged nurse asked cautiously He turned to look at her questioningly Are y'all ok? Is there anything y'all need? She continued. Caffeine he told her honestly. He needed a cigarette with that caffeine but he didn't vocalize this to her. He was trying harder than hell to quit for his family and the stress was making it a real bitch. She led him to the employee room and made him sit down at the table. She poured him a cup of coffee It Ain't no Starbucks but it does in a pinch she told him smiling what you take in it she asked gently. Cream and sugar he replied the tension in his voice more than evident .Thank you he told her smiling .She patted his hand gently. You come in here whenever you need a minute to yourself coffee to eat whatever you need she told him .He sat there alone for a minute drinking his coffee thinking about what was going to happen next not so much with the shows but with his soon to be in laws .God help him he wouldn't let anyone harm his family not even his future in laws. Composing himself he returned to her room. When the nurse led Jordan continued his conversation with the twins. "Aislynne you will be so protected and loved. Wyatt I'm going to teach you how to shave as soon as you get old enough. I can't wait to teach you to walk and talk. I can't wait to hear your first laugh. I can't wait to change your diapers and dress you in the best clothes we can buy. You will have everything you need. You'll never have to worry about the same things I did as a child." he hadn't realized that Raven woke up. She didn't move because she didn't want to let him know she was awake. She just wanted to listen to him talk to their children uninhibited. She liked hearing his honestly. "I love you too and your mommy with everything I have in me. I will never let anyone hurt any of you. Your mommy is the strongest woman I've ever met in my life and when you're old enough I'll tell you how we met." he chuckled at that and continued. "Aislynne I want you to grow up to be as strong as your mommy. She has overcome so much in her life. Wyatt I want you and your sister to always follow your dreams even if people say it will never work. You can do it babies and mommy and I will be there through everything. We promise" Raven could no longer hold her tears back and she let out a whimper. Jordan kissed her neck and rubbed her belly. "Are you ok Raven?" he whispered. "Yes darlin I'm perfectly fine. I hear you promise the twins that we would always be there for them and it made me so happy then the hormones took over and I started to cry" she said between whimpers. "I meant every word baby" he assured her.
