5 Years later.....

Jordan opened the door to the new house. He dropped his jacket and carryon onto the bench by the front door. The house was quiet .eerily quiet .Where was everyone? .He heard water running. He followed the sound. He smiled sheepishly. Letting himself into the master bath he heard music. Bon Jovi he held back a chuckle as he pulled his boxers off and stepped into the two person shower. He wrapped his arms around Raven .Oh are you sure this is a good idea? My husband will be home soon. He tickled her .She snorted as he kissed her deeply. "That was too long "she murmured as he broke the kiss. I'm telling Miguel a month at a time max.She moaned He nuzzled her neck with his nose and smiled.

When the water went cold they got out and laid on their bed. I missed you my belle he told her as he drew her into his arms. The house looks amazing .he murmured .They had sold the house in Boston and stayed in the one she had outside the city until this house was completed. This was much bigger and he had a studio in the basement so he didn't have to leave as often for recording. They shared an office next to the studio. Each child had their own bedroom and there were several guest rooms for family to visit.

They were talking about all the goings on while he was on the road when they heard the front door. Daddy!!! Came a chorus of eager children. Aislynne and Iona made it to their father first .He hugged them close as they were tackled by the boys. Wyatt and Dalton jumped on his back .Holy sh- he stopped himself. Everyone laughed. They all came at him all at once .He whistled. Knights! Settle down Raven bellowed as she walked into the bedroom. Raven went into the kitchen to start supper. Jordan touched her arm to stop her. He shook his head shaking the thought off. He called Marlene .She arrived about thirty minutes later to whisk her grandchildren off to her farm. When the house was quiet he made another call, Raven looked at him puzzled. He grinned ear to ear as he hung up the phone. What was that all about? You'll see. He gave her that big dimpled grin she loved so much .Guiding her out of the kitchen and into the living room by the fireplace he pulled her into his lap as he sat down on the loveseat. What are you up to Mr. Knight? It's a surprise Mrs. Knight he retorted. He kissed her as he went to the kitchen to get them each a drink. The doorbell rang. Jordan hurried to the door. Raven peered around the doorway. She couldn't see what he was doing. He came out of the kitchen with the drinks he poured and stopped to light a few candles. In his hands he also had taken out containers .It's not fine china, crystal and silver but it'll work he told her as he set the containers in front of her. They were filled with all of her favorite foods from back home. She just looked at him stunned. How? I have connections he told her smirking.

As they ate their meal Raven flushed and bolted to the bathroom. Jordan got up and followed her. "Belle?" No reply but he could hear her heaving. Baby? Open the door. Still heaving.Fuck she could kick his ass later he thought as he pushed open the door. "Baby just give me a minute. I'm ok I just need a minute." she told him between heaves. Jordan refused to leave. He sat next to her and rubbed her back until she was done. He helped her up and over to the sink. "What's going on my belle? Was it the food?" he asked. They made their way back into the living room before Raven said anything. "Baby come cuddle me." Raven said as she lay down on the couch. Jordan wrapped himself around her. "Baby I have something to tell you and please don't freak out." she said. "Tell me baby." he said. "I've been sick off and on since you left so I went to the doctor. They did a bunch of testing." she paused. "What's wrong? Is it serious? Please tell me." Jordan pleaded. "I'm almost 12 week's pregnant baby." she said with reservations. She still had the memory of her last pregnancy and his reaction in the back of her mind.

Jordan stilled instantly. Raven felt it he knew she did. He sat for a moment .Say something baby please she begged fear and the start of tears brimming in her eyes .What the fuck was he doing? Jordan mentally kicked himself. He pulled her in tighter .Good thing we have plenty of bedrooms he stated as a huge dimpled grin appeared across his face. She sighed and the tears flowed .Belle? Why the tears sweetheart? He murmured trying to kiss each one as it fell. "I thought you'd be mad and hate me she sniffed trying to catch her breath. "I just keep thinking about when I told you about the triplets and I didn't want that to happen again." she said between sobs. Baby he began I was an asshole then I should've been there instead of drowning in a bottle and I am so sorry .That will never happen not again, I love you I love our family The only thing I would change is my stupidity because it almost took my world .His eyes were boring into hers as he said it.She saw his regret, honesty and love in them all at once. She kissed him and lay her head on his chest. He gently rubbed her belly. "Do you know what it is yet or is it too soon?" Jordan asked. "The appointment is next week to find out. Oh and were only having one baby this time." she said with a grin.

Thank god he chuckled. She looked up at him. What? At least only one swimmer claimed the prize this time .She burst out laughing .He loved the sound of her laugh the glow she got in her eyes when she laughed. God he was such a girl. Scratch that he was a man who was completely infatuated with his wife.

A WEEK LATER

Raven sat on the exam table waiting for the obstetrician to come in.Jordan was standing beside her hold her hand and occasionally stroking her knuckles with his thumb. The excitement had built over the past week and they couldn't wait to find out what they were having. Not that it mattered to them as long as the baby was healthy. The OB finally came into the room. When she turned around she instantly recognized Jordan and squealed. Raven and Jordan just laughed. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry about that. That was very unprofessional of me." she said. "We're used to it doc." Raven told her as she and Jordan laughed. "Well Mrs. Knight let's take a look here." she said as she put some gel on Raven's belly and then the ultrasound wand. She moved the wand all over her belly taking different measurements to make sure the baby was growing good. "Well let's if we can see what you're having. Hmmmm. This little one is being stubborn." she said as she moved the wand around hoping to get a glimpse of the baby's gender. "Maybe if I move the wand a certain way the baby will shift so we can see." she said as she began what seemed like a wild goose chase. Raven and Jordan eagerly looked at the monitor. "Ah here we go. It looks like you are having a girl." the doctor announced. "Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Knight" she said as she printed off the ultrasound pictures. She handed them to Jordan as Raven cleaned the gel off of her stomach .Mr. Knight? the tech looked at him questioningly He cocked his head .In her hand she held a pen and paper .He nodded as he took the paper and pen from her .Thank you she squealed and left the room. Another girl Raven snickered .Yea I'm fucked he mumbled .Oh really? she arched a brow. Uh I don't own enough guns to keep all the little hormone raging teenage fuckers away from our princesses he retorted .What about the hormone raging girls ...hmmm she countered Smartass he mumbled What was that ? She asked .I said we need to get the kids from class he told her as she swatted his ass
