XXVIII

FINNS POV

"Shit" I breathed before thrusting my phone into my pocket and sprinting toward the studio doors 

"Finn what are you doing!" Andy screamed after me, I skidded to a stop next to the door and turned to see the whole crew and cast staring at me in confusion "I'm sorry, I-I gotta go" I puffed before Sophia took off running in the same direction as me but I didn't stop and wait for her.

 I had to get to Y/N. 

"Sophia get back here!" Andy yelled from inside "WAIT FINN!" she screamed, her voice cracking slightly I stopped again causing gravel to fly everywhere 

"the...keys... w...we'll get an Uber" she panted before throwing me a set of car keys and I quickly thanked her as I jumped in the driver's seat and sped off in the direction of the hotel. 

I tried calling Jack and Wyatt but both boys phones went straight to voicemail as the car sped well over the speed limit "what the fuck are you guys doing" I mumbled in frustration,

 maybe they already found her? no they would've called me. Wouldn't they?

I slammed my foot on the break pedal before throwing open the car door and slamming it again behind me making sure to lock the car.

 I ran through the rotating doors "Hi Mr. Wolfha-" one of the hotel staff began but I didn't pause to listen, 

instead I sprinted straight to the elevator and pressed the number 6 over and over and over until the doors finally enclosed me inside and the familiar feeling of all the gravity pulling me down as the capsule shot upwards returned to my body. 

The two doors slid open slowly but I only waited until the gap was wide enough for me to slip through. 

I forced my feet to go harder but I was running out of endurance faster than I could run, Jack and Wyatt appeared in the hallway laughing and pushing each other around before noticing me charging toward them still dressed fully in costume and they stopped, confusion replacing their grins almost instantly. 

"Finn? what are you doing are you okay?" Jack asked stepping forward, concern coating his voice but I didn't pause to fill them in - I just skidded to a stop outside Y/N's room attempting to open the door

 "why the fuck is it LOCKED" I screamed in frustration leaning my forearms on the solid wood "WHAT'S WRONG FINN" Wyatt shouted, his hands flying in the air "I NEED TO GET INSIDE NOW" my voice cracked in to a high pitched whisper as I screamed 

"I-I'll go grab the spare key card" Jack stuttered causing my fists to clench urging myself not to lash out at my best friend. 

"here here" Jack pushed the key card in my palm and I tried to swipe it through the lock but my hand was shaking so horrifically I couldn't do it. 

"ARRRR" I cried trying over and over to put the card through "Finn calm down do it slowly" Wyatt suggested and I tried once more before the little light turned green and I didn't hesitate to throw the door open. 

There she was, on the ground her body was convulsing violently and little whimpers sounded form her quivering pink lips.

 "no no no baby can you hear me" I whispered forcing myself not to cry, I knelt down beside the smaller girl cradling my arms around her body being careful not to hurt her. 

She whined and buried her face into my chest as I started slowly rocking back and forth "you're so cold" I whispered into her hair, wishing for any sort of reply.

 "should I call an ambulance?" Wyatt asked pulling out his phone

"oh so now you want to use your phone!" I spat when he returned "huh?" "you didn't answer ANY OF MY CALLS YOU ASSHOLE" I shrieked feeling close to tears but I pushed them back

 "I-I'm so sorry Finn I-" "no you don't need to apologise Wyatt, it's not our job to babysit Y/N how could we ever know this would happen" Jack yelled at me defending the taller boy behind him clutching the device sheepishly.

 Rage engulfed my emotions after Jack spoke, how could he say that? "are you KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?!" I shouted getting off the floor and stepping toward Jack, I towered over him and he moved backwards, his back hitting the wall as I walked closer "HOW WOULD YOU REACT IF YOUR MOTHER DIED!" I spat in his face slamming my hand against the wall next to his head, fear clouded my best friends eyes, he was scared...of me. "Finn we didn't know, calm down please" Wyatt begged pulling on my arm 

"Finn?" everyone stopped at the noise of Y/N's words, my head shot back to the girl on the floor and I ran to her side.

 Her body had stopped shaking and instead Y/N was gasping for air her blue eyes now wide open with tears streaming down each cheek "Y/N, it's okay I'm here" 

"m-my mother" she whimpered "shhhh I know" my brow furrowed as we rocked in eachothers arms again. 

"Guys!"everyone looked over to the door to see Sam standing there panting heavily "w-we need to go, I got us flights, Y/N's father isn't answering his phone we need to get back to Canada" She explained hurriedly before spotting Y/N in my arms and running over 

"oh nugget I'm so sorry" she cried laying a kiss on Y/N's forehead "come on bub you're okay" Sam soothed pulling a hoodie over Y/N's head and helping Wyatt and Jack pack up her luggage. 

I stood up with my girlfriend still nestled in my arms as her breathing slowly regulated, I cradled her shivering body as I followed the other 3 down the long hotel hallway leading back to the elevator.

 "I'll see you guys later I guess" I tuned to my two best friends, Jack flinched when I spoke, filling my heart with sorrow 

"hey Jack? I-I'm really sorry ... for earlier" "it's okay" he squeaked and Wyatt gave me a weak smile before the elevator door closed - separating Sam, Y/N and I from the others.
