"So you have instagram now huh?" Finn grinned at me from the passengers seat of my car "yeah it's @infinite.knocks" I laughed causing him to smile wider "you're so different" I put on a fake pout and looked at him with one hand on the wheel "is that a bad or a good thing?"

 this time he chuckled and patted my shoulder playfully comforting me "definitely good" I gave him a cheesy grin before turning on the radio and letting the song 'pour some sugar on me' blast through the speakers. 

We sung and did various air guitars as Finn set up his phone on the dash and put on a live video "hey guys I won't really be reading comments but if you wanna enjoy us sing then welcome" we both laughed and Finn continued to sing but I stayed silent watching the road and the live video at the same time as the views and comments rolled in. 

My breath hitched in my throat and my palms grew clammier by the second as I clutched the steering wheel tighter and tighter. 

My whole rib cage felt as if it was expanding larger with each breath causing them to be sharper and tighter, I clenched my jaw as I felt all the eyes of the world on me. 

All hating me.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw the boy raven haired boy look a me before placing his hand on my thigh "hey are you okay?" he mumbled under his breath, I just nodded unable to speak out of pure fear of his viewers hating me even more. 

"okay we're gonna go now guys ... bye!" and with that all the eyes were gone and I let out a huge breath making sure to push it through my lips slowly so Finn wouldn't notice. 

"Y/N I'm really sorry, I'm so stupid I didn't even think or ask you if it would be okay to go live" "It's fine Finn honestly I'm fine" I tried to calm him down, he gave a big sigh as I pulled into an empty car park near a nature reserve 

"hey I used to come here as a kid!" he said delighted "yeah we're here buddy you can let go now" I giggled referring to Finn's hand which was still planted on my thigh, a deep red flush crept up on his face as he quickly took his hand off and gathered himself before getting out of the car.

 I smiled to myself and got out after him making sure to lock it and we started the nature trail awaiting us.

After about 30 minutes we reached the top of the track and sat on the little wooden bench there. "It's still your birthday" Finn tried to start up conversation "yeah and I'm finally old enough to drink alcohol" I laughed causing Finn to smile at me "and I'm turning 19 in about 3 months". 

We both sat awkwardly for a while before another question popped into my head "how long are you in America?" "5 months..." he trailed off looking at his feet "wow that's a really long time I won't be able to see you" I marvelled 

"aww you care" he mocked "shut it Wolfhard" I glared looking into his eyes, they always seemed to be a spark of something playful constantly dancing about the raven colour.

 "Y/N can I ask you something" his voice came out gentle and mellow, I nodded in reply before he spoke again "do you like wanna like maybe, possibly, it's your choice" "oh spit it out mate!" I giggled but Finn didn't seem to notice my joke 

"Y/N do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

I stared at him blankly, his girlfriend?! like in a relationship with someone? I've never had a boyfriend and now the guy that I like just asked me to be his girlfriend, but he's famous and all his fans will be mad!

 "I um, what about your fans won't they be upset" I asked, Finn scoffed "Y/N if they are upset then clearly they aren't my fans" he reassured me, 

I smiled at before nodding as a reply "wait really?" his voice sounded overjoyed "yes" I laughed and Finns pumped his arms in the air before rushing forward and spinning me around, his hands on my waist "are you sure" "of course I'm sure!" I started uncontrollably smiling and Finn's expression mirrored mine we were both consumed in perfect 

happiness
