**Warning will give you major fangirl feels and the need to have a boyfriend that is super sweet**

Claire's P.O.V

Well, here it is. A whole year dating this amazing freak. He's loved me no matter what. No matter what mistake either of us makes. Whether its accidentally kissing another. Taking things too personally. Or even the hate from some fans, he's always been there for me. He's made feel like a better person than before. Like someone that can't ask for more.

Since its our one year anniversary, Luke is taking me somewhere I guess you could say our relationship started off strong. The barn. The barn is one of those places that makes you want to take a trip down memory lane. The barn was where our friendship started off strong. Its where we would hide, play together, and even just hangout together. Now its a place that we went to on the day we started dating to the day of our one year dating anniversary.

I decide to dress as casual as usual. A tie top, a pair of shorts, and flip flops. My hair, loose fishtail braid. I have on the bracelet Luke gave me  for our eight month anniversary. Well, here it is. The anniversary I never thought would come. But here we are one year later. Happy, together. I guess it really was meant to be. But before all of this, I never thought it would've worked out.

"You ready to go babe?" Luke asks me. Even after a whole year of being called babe, love, beautiful, etc, I still get butterflies. It makes feel like he actually cares for me.

"Yes, now lets go." I say as we leave. Its dark enough right now that if we were just in the middle of no where, you could see just about every star in the universe. If only.

We arrive to the barn and see it has cars parked all around. Fire trucks? Ambulances? No, no, no, this isn't happening. My childhood memory did not burn down. We reach the front of the police tape.

"Sorry you two, no one is aloud pass until further notice." A policeman explains putting his arms out so we don't cross.

"What even happened?" I ask.

"That's what's being investigated right now." he explains. All I want to do right now is cry. That barn had so many memories. Enough that its practically a part of me. Luke pulls me away from the scene. I shouldn't sweat it.

"Hey, listen, lets go to the highest point in town, and we can sit there." Luke explains pulling me into a hug. I agree as we head to the highest point in town. Pretty much on the outskirts of town. At least we have a view of everything. Luke lays out a blanket so we can sit on it. "You see every single one of those stars, they're all beautiful. But not as beautiful as you." I can't help but blush as he kisses the top of my head. I then lay my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you for making up the date. I really wanted to cry back there." I explain.

"Anything for my girl." he explains as a shooting star passes.

"Hey look at that, a shooting star."

"Make a wish."

"I wish our relationship will stay strong."

"I wish for you to be mine forever." he says kissing my forehead. "That reminds me. I got you a present." he explains pulling out a velvet box from his pocket. Shit, no, we're too young. He can't be asking me to marry him yet. We're only eighteen almost nineteen.

"Luke, are you asking me to marry you?" I ask worried a bit staring at the ring that sits in the velvet box.

"Nope, its a promise ring."

"What's the promise?"

"That you will be mine forever and ever." he explains. I smile as he slips the ring on my ring finger.
