For Taylor it was a shock to see the picture of their engagement, she expected it; but not three weeks after their call. She didn't know how to feel about it, honestly, she felt like someone just stole her most precious possession. She knew it was fake, but Karlie's behavior was different in a whole new level.

At first it was the trips with people who Karlie, a long time ago, considered fake and possibly bad. Then it was his friendship with people who surely was not related to her in any way, but she now called them "her inspiration", and finally her decision to start some sort of trophy wife lifestyle. Taylor at first thought it was just a phase but even her clothes changed, she started to act as the perfect Jewish wife. And then she was one.

It was October when Taylor was in a plane on her way to Australia, her tour was almost over and she was now dating Joe; he was a good guy and she, sort of, loved him. He was good and nice, he usually helped her with advice on her music or listened to her when things went bad. However, she still missed her.

Taylor was listening to some music when Tree approached her and sit beside her.

"Tay, we have some news and you'll not like them."

Taylor stared at her and nodded, she wanted to know what was happening.

"Karlie got married, secret ceremony."

Taylor didn't react, she just looked out of the window and said, "Send her a gift, and a message from my part."

Tree nodded, "You're going to write it?"

"No, just the standard I always send to the people I don't know."

Tree was worried. "Anything particular you would want to send her?"

"Just send her something, whatever you like." She kept her gaze in the window, "Tree, did she invite me?"

"No, we didn't receive anything."

"Okay." Taylor moved out from her sit and announced she was going to rest a bit in the jet's room.

Tree knew it hit her hard, but she would be out from it.

Taylor was resting on the bed, she honestly wanted to shout at the world that Karlie was a liar. The last time they saw each other was in August, when she went to Nashville and confessed, she still loved her.

Taylor literally threw her arms around her, they made promises about their future. Taylor told her she was to come out after her contract was finished, and then she would release an album dedicated to her. Karlie hugged her all night and told her that her marriage was going to happen until next year, and that was enough time to finish everything.

Taylor joked about their lives, and then talked seriously about their relationship. She missed her best friend, her girlfriend and life partner. They kept talking all night, and then made love. At the next day, Karlie said goodbye and Taylor promised she'll be waiting for her.

She opened her Instagram and looked for Karlie's profile. She saw the picture and liked it.

It was over.
