Bucky and Percy

camp -we dont have a name yet.

SHEILD would find them.

How could they not? Bucky was attempting to herd a pack of children and five babies, across the state.

He had no idea where to take them, who they belonged to, or what they wanted, percy clinging to his keg the whole time didnt help, and the girl, annabeth, asking constant questions onky annoyed him.

But bucky was a patient man, so he told them to stay , and then proceeded to rob a walmart,  got baby foid and supplies, and alot of food for the kids, and twenty five tents for them too.

He stole a bus and they were off, the bus was crammed but it worked, the kids were talking and yelling and, for the first time, smiling.

'I know a guy who's tall and broad, speeding down this un-god-ly road!'

'We dont haiiil hydra!'

'He soeeds like a jet we got nothing to fret!'

'We Will not seeeerve hydra'

Bucky was going to strangle whatever kid started that song, if he wasn't driving.

It was insane, about a year ago he was cold hearted and emotionless, following orders like an asset.

Now, he's grinning as annabrth tried to control the choir and percy and clarisse threw grapes at each other, he laughed as clarisse nailed percy in the eye with one.

Weird, he went from the loneliest guy ever, to having forty eight demigods in a bus.

KIDS TALKING AND TALKING OVER HIM

The bus was full of chatter and life, these kids realized that hydra wasnt going to beat them if they spoke out, so they spoke out, ALOT.

Bucky couldn't even get their attention, lucky for him, annabeth was on his side.

"SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO MR. WINTER!"

she roared, standing in her seat, the tiny girl shot bucky a smile as the others went silent, bucky shot her a grin, "thank you annie", the tiny girl beamed at him.

"Ok, so i know this is scary-"

"this is awsome!"

The bus went up in cheers, "HUSH! yes! You're free of hydra, but not if they find us again, right now we need to settle out a camp for a bit, we've been driving for three-"

"Five", annabeth corrected, "-five days, we're almost out of food, and you all stink to high heaven" bucky said

"And conner clogged the toilet!"

"Did not!","did too!"

"And SOMEONE clogged the toilet", bucky nodded at the twins, "you two get to help me fix that", the twins groaned and bucky laughed.

"Ok, grab a tent! And grab a buddy! Make a circle around the clearing we're in! Then meet in the middle when you set up your tent!"

The kids rushed to get off, bucky grabbed a few kids aside to help him, "hey lads, wana help me?", Annabeth nodded eagerly and her two friends stood at attention.

"Percy, with me, annabeth, thalia, luke", he pointed at the three, "go find some wood, flint, stuff for fire, percy and I are gonna look for water" the three ran off laughing and jokeing, luke, the eldest, warning them not to split up.

Percy looked up at bucky, Bucky ruffled his hair, "c'mon, lets go find water, you re good at that. Aint you?", percy gave a grin and nodded.

As the kids settled in and the sun set, bucky felt a drop of rain, he and percy were a good walk away from camp, and he squinted at the sky in worry.

"Lets get back to camp before the rain-"

A ear piercing scream tore through the forest, bucky whirled around, grabbed percys arm and bolted to the camp.

He knew that scream, felt the ground shake, he heard the scream a second time.

He was too shocked to realize what she was screaming about.

The others were rushing towards the bus quitly, fearful if the svreaming coming from the forest, bucky just tore forward, releasing percy and pushing kids away so he could see into the trees.

He saw.

Luke, and Annabeth, and oh god Thalia.

And a Cyclops loomed over them.
