Bucky and Percy

surprise visit

Chiron was great, it was njce to have an adult to talk to at camp, Grover was kinda strange.

He bleated randomly, ate things he probaby shouldnt eat, and stumbled a bunch, Percy and he got a long fast.

Grover and percy started to talk, and annabeth and percy were a package deal, so bucky got to watch fondly as percy poked at Grovers goat legs and annabeth asked a million questions.

Luke was hesitant of chiron, the man had formed a wheel chair, and was sitting across from them in the middle of the mess hall, witch had just cleared out of campers, "so you Just show up and bacome a Leader?"

Luke snapped, bucky knew he didn't mean to, but he did, the twelve year old was angry for some reason, "the gods sent me to aid the camp, ill assist sir winter-"

"Bucky is fine", bucky gave a small smile and placed a hand on lukes shoulder, "luke, a word?"

They walked outside the mess hall, chiron still in view but out of hearing, "why are you so hesitant with chiron, the gods sent him to help"

"With what", luke seemed worried, large scar on his face from when the giant threw a stone stretching as he frowned.

"We've been doing fine, we finished building, the feilds are healthy, campers are being claimed- why are they sending him now? Whats he have to offer that we don't?".

Bucky got on one knee and put his elbow on the other bent one, eye level with luke, "you're scared we cant trust him", luke nodded, "i don't either, the gods sent him to help bring in other demigods, its really complicated, but we dont really know too much about greek stuff yet, do we?"

Even if athena spoke to him about it, it didnt mean he knew how to handle it, we have a smell, hiw do i mask it? Monsters can die, how do i kill it?

"Guess not...",bucky gave a worried smile, "don't think im not on your side, luke, he appeared out if no where, wants to help because the gods told him to, hes a lacky for them because they cant be here themselves, but he can help"

Luke nodded, "but if he does betray us?"

"You have my permission to kill him, he hurts anyone- hell if he offendes anyone, ill do it myself, but right now, we only know that he's here to help".

Luke glanced over, annabeth was talking to chiron while percy watched Grover eat a metal can.

"Ok"

And that was that, it took a week for luke to warm up to chiron, bucky built a room for chiron in the big house, Grover insisted on staying in the woods.

It was a clear night , all the campers were by the campfire, singing songs and talking , when the firce feild alerted them that someone was trying to get in.

When several more ripples went through the sky, it was clear that someone was trying to force their way in, Bucky stood as the campers went silent.

"Campers! To the armory! Gear up! Swords and arrows drawn! Meet up at the vollyball courts! All infants are to be taken to the cabins!"

The campers rushed quickly, tripping over themselves as they rushed for battle, bucky rushed towrds the big house, annabeth and percy appeared beside him.

"Whats going on?", annabeth yelled as they ran, he watched students rush to get themselves armed, he bolted to the big house and to his room.

"Go get your armor!", he barked at the two in the door way, they ran off as bucky pulled a duffle bag from his closet and onto his bed.

He threw his hair in a bun and pulled out his huge gun, he cocked it and grabbed the special bullets charles built for him, then tucked a dagger into his pocket.

With the gun in his right hand, leaning back on his shoulder he waltzed outside and to the tennis courts, annabeth materialized next to him, invisible cap in hand, percy appeared on his other side, sword in hand.

Both clad in their armor, bucky stood up on a bench to see the others, then he scanned the sky, a flicker of light caught his eye.

"There!", annabeth pointed, the campers started speaking and squinting at the sky as a figure flew over the sheild.

Bucky strained his eyes and breathed out in disbelief, metal hand gripping his dog tags as he realized who it was .
