"Kale, Rye, and Q's team are coming with you pero separate building sila matutulog at magmamatyag." Patuloy ni kuya. I actually don't have something to say kaya nakinig lang ako.
"You will be Mrs. Pia Fajardo.." Tinuro niya ako. "And Vander will be Mr. Renz Fajardo. Mag-asawa kayo. Both 28 and no child. You're there for a vacation that Mr. Fajardo promised to you." May binasa lang siya saglit sa document and proceeded to get the things na nasa mesa niya.
"These are your things. Nandito lahat ng kinakailangan niyo from make-ups to guns. I've already arranged and assigned some people to assist you when you get there. Check this and remember them." May binigay siya sa aming folder na may listahan ng mga pangalan at mukha.
We got some waitresses, bellboys, room service, and others. May chief of police din at medics.
And only one caught my attention sa list ng medical staff. Si Kath! Lumiwanag agad ang mukha ko.
"Kuya sasama ka ba?" I asked immediately.
"Of course, mapapatay ako ni mommy 'pag hindi." His brows furrowed. "Why?"
"Nothing." Nagkibit-balikat ako at hindi ipinahalatang excited. Kailangan planado rin ang pagiging cupid ko.
"Wait, where are we going exactly?" Tanong ko. Ang dami ng sinabi ni kuya pero 'di ko pa rin alam saan kami pupunta. Lol
"Siargao." Vander answered. Napanganga ako. Ang layo pala!
"You're kidding!" Umiling lang si Vander at natawa naman si kuya.
"I am actually serious." Kinamot pa ni Vander ang ilong niya. Sinamaan ko nga ng tingin.
"Bakit ang layo?" I know OA pero akala ko kasi dito lang sa tabi-tabi noh! Sino ba kasi itong pupuntiryahin namin at sa malayong lupalop pa ng Pilipinas nagtatago!
"Black Horn is currently residing there. May mansyon siya doon hindi kalayuan sa resort na pagse-stayhan natin." Kuya is busy finding a picture sa coffee table. Nang mahanap, ibinigay niya iyon sa amin.
"Black horn, what?" Parang mafia naman!
"Black horn, the deciphered code from the one you gave to dad." Napa-'Oh' ako. So that was the meaning behind the letters. Paano kaya 'yun na decode ni Dad ng ganoon kadali. Amazing!
"According to sources, siya ang boss ni Mr. Su from the auction. But I think we still have to dig deeper that's why we are going there. Siena already traced his whereabouts at ang kanyang daily routines. We just have to clarify something and see if he still has a lot going on behind his back." Seryosong-seryoso si kuya akala mo boss na boss ang dating, 'di naman. Hahaha.
"We'll see what else can we do when we get there. Am I clear?" Pagtatapos niya. Tumango naman kaming lahat.
"Hey guys, am I late--" Kakapasok lang ng bagong gising na si Rye. Siya 'yung nagpanggap na waiter sa auction at nagbigay ng revolver sa'kin.
