A/N: I'm just going to pretend that Matt from the actual series of Death Note used to study at the Wammy House.. )))

We reached the dining room and we all sat down on a bench in front of a table. Most people were wolfing down their cereal and toast already but we were just waiting at a table.

"Room 104? Breakfast is ready!"

A lady yelled in our direction. It took a moment for me to realise that Ryuzaki, Mello and Near were all queuing up without me so I embarrassedly made my way over to them. Near gestured for me to go in front of him so I took up the offer and nodded a thank you.

When I sat back down next to Ryuzaki, I noticed a boy put his foot in Mello's path. Mello toppled over, spilling the milk in his cereal in my direction. Immediately several boys started cackling like witches with laughter as I was soaked and Mello was on the ground, red as a tomato.

I jumped in my seat when I felt something touch my hair. I turned around to see Ryuzaki doing something to my hair.

"R-Ryuzaki.. What are you doing?" I stuttered. He finally looked at me.

"Oh, there are Cheerios in your hair, I just thought I should take them out before someone notices" Ryuzaki explained.

"You might need to take a shower by the way" He whispered and filled his mouth with a pancake.

---

When I returned from my shower, a lady was sitting down with the others. She looked up as I arrived and greeted me with a smile.

"You must be our new classmate. Elizabeth was it?"

I nodded. She must be our teacher.

"Great! My name is Ms. Holly, I'm your personal teacher" She smiled and I sat on the empty chair.

The next few hours were spent struggling to keep up with the class. Was it always going to be this difficult to keep up?

"You'll get wrinkles" Ryuzaki warned as he placed his thumb on my temple.

It was the end of class. Mello and Near were both already studying.

As soon as I relaxed my frown he let go and patted my head.

"You did good" That was all he said before getting marshmallow ice cream from the freezer. My heart fluttered a little from getting praise from such a clever person.
