You Again?

Part 10

Waking up in the morning was tougher than usual. Maybe it was because I couldn't stop fidgeting in bed. Or the fact I was thinking of Matt again. My heart raced when I thought about the little kiss on the cheek.

Okay so my goal today was to act like nothing happened between me and Matt. I noticed the others had left for breakfast without me for a change so I walked by myself to the dining room. All of the seats were full, so I had no choice but to sit near the people I absolutely despised. They always touched me in awkward places and talk about me like I was some sort of tool.

"Hey look, that cute girl's 'ere. Take a look at that boys!" One of them said while touching my waist. I held in my anger and slapped his hands away.

"Can you just leave me alone for once?" I asked them. They ignored me.

"How can we ignore a good lookin' girl like you? Well pretty lady do you have a boyfriend?" One of them teased and stroked my cheek. I scowled at him.

"If you don't have a boyfriend I'll be the one taking up that position" One of them said, reaching a hand to touch my breast. I was about to swat their hand away when someone suddenly punched them in the stomach.

"Huh?" I said out loud. I got up to find out who helped me but they were to close for me to see before they finally said something.

"She does have a boyfriend, and that just so happens to be me." The voice behind me said. It was Matt! I opened my mouth to speak but was stopped when Matt's lips invaded mine. As he was kissing me I didn't know why I didn't push away. I.. wanted more? It was all so sudden that I couldn't take it any longer. Matt realised this and pulled away, bringing me into a tight hug.

"She's mine, so if I see any of you touch her or talk to her again, I will hurt you." Matt said with confidence. My heart was racing so fast that I didn't think my body could keep up. As I turned slightly limp, Matt held me up with his strong arms. Everyone in the whole dining room fell silent and all of them were staring at us. I was so embarrassed! Matt and I weren't even official!

We waited until everyone was out of the dining room when we walked out. I nudged Matt and dragged him to the gardens.

"I'm sorry for embarrassing you like that Lizzie..." He said as he looked away.

"That kiss... was amazing.." I said in a daze, remembering it.

"You call that a kiss?" Matt said, a look of relief on his face.

"This is a kiss" Matt said before pulling me close to kiss me.

This kiss was nothing like the one before, this kiss was so gentle yet still managing to be passionate at the same time. His lips were caressing mine. His arms were around my waist while my arms were pulling his neck closer. I wanted this to last forever but I was quickly running out of breath and we both stopped. We were now in a tight embrace, breathing heavily. This means that Matt and I are officially boyfriend and girlfriend now.
