As Matt and I shared our laughs together we lost track of time and it was already getting dark. We were linking arms while walking aimlessly in the park maze, talking about food, video games and animals until he asked me a question out of no where.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" He stopped walking and looked at me expectantly.
"No.. Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked him shyly. He smiled.
"Nope." Matt said as he continued to walk. We looked up at the sky and saw the first of the stars come into view.
"I guess we have to go now..." I said sadly.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, they moved me into a new room so I can focus more on my studies... but that also means we can talk on xbox for longer" He smiled. "I have a whole double bed all to myself!"
"I wish I could say the same!" I giggled "No but my roommates aren't annoying or anything so I guess it's alright" I told him.
"Hey, I'll walk you home" Matt suggested finally.
"Are you sure? What about Ryusaki?" I blurted out loud. He have me a weak smile.
"Let me worry about that"

We walked to my room and stopped at the door.
"Thanks, Matt" I said softly and I kissed him on the cheek. I saw him blush and soon I felt my own face grow hot so I opened the door and escaped the situation.
Ryusaki was sitting on his bed.
"I thought you were going out for lunch..." He said quietly. Was there a hint of sadness in his voice?
I tried to ignore it and climbed into bed without getting changed. What was I thinking?! Matt probably doesn't even like me in that way! Why did I have to go ruin our friendship?
That night I went straight to sleep, thinking about what happened.
