You Again?

Part 13

Ryusaki? What was going on? My head started to hurt and I blacked out in Ryusaki's arms.

I woke up in the infirmary. Ryusaki, Mello and Near were all staring at me happily.

"You're finally awake! You had us worried sick about you..." Mello said. That's right, I was hugging Matt when...

"Where's Matt?!" I suddenly asked them.

Mello and Near looked down but Ryusaki gazed at me.

"He's fine, he should be in his room" He said coolly. I didn't believe him.

"If he's fine, why are you all looking so sad?" I demanded. When they didn't answer I got up.

"I'm finding out for myself" I said leaving the room with my bag. My head still hurt but I didn't care, I had to see for myself. I rushed to Matt's room and opened the door to find him with.... another girl?!

"...M-Matt...?" I said quietly. A bleached blonde was sitting on his lap in her underwear. What was going on?!

"That's right, I have another woman now, Alexia is the only one for me. I'm done with you so get out of my sight." He said. His eyes were cold like his voice.

All I could do was stare at him in shock... he's a completely different person now... What the heck was going on? I could feel tears starting to well up but I desperately tried to fight them back. I couldn't let him see I was hurt.

"Well, I didn't need you anyway. Actually I was coming here to tell you that things are over between us anyway" I lied. I waved and slammed the door behind me. I couldn't hold back the tears anymore so I ran to the bathroom as quickly as I could, my head torturing me with pain.

But he was so nice to me before... I wiped the tears from my eyes and splashed cold water across my face. I was desperate to look like I hadn't been crying.

I walked back to my room. I couldn't help but think Mello was right all along...

I opened the door to my room and I couldn't stop myself from hugging Ryusaki. He held me against him. He was cold as usual so I hugged him even tighter to warm him up. It was already dark and now I was starving.

"Ryusaki I'm hungry..." I said, pouting. He smiled and messed up my hair.

"C'mon then, let's go eat" He said, leading me to the cafeteria. I had a nice warm beef lasagne while he just had some ice cream.

"That's why you're so cold" I said finally.

"Huh?"

"Well you always eat cold, unhealthy foods, that's why you're so pale and cold all the time" I explained further. He frowned and then smiled.

"I missed my hot water bottle last night" He said. That's right, Every time I came back from Matt's I always prepared Ryusaki's hot water bottle to keep him warm.

"I'm glad you appreciate them" I smiled.

When we got back, Ryusaki went straight to bed.

"He was up all night with you in the infirmary.. it's no wonder he's tired" Near told me, looking up from his toys.

"He was?" I asked. They both nodded. Ryusaki really did care...

At that moment I remembered to do Ryusaki's hot water bottle. He really deserved it.

As I climbed up to his bed I crawled over towards his body to place the hot water bottle.

"Thanks" He muttered softly as I left.

I fell asleep too.

I woke up from an agonising dream. It was about Matt and that girl and now that was all I could think about. Here I was at 3am, crying over a guy. I never thought I'd be in this position.

Ryusaki must have heard me crying because he got up to look at me.
"Lizzie it's alright, come here" He said softly. I walked over towards his bed and hugged him.

He caught me off guard when he made me lie down with him. He was now hugging me from behind.

"You're so warm..." Ryusaki said softly and turned me around so that we were in a close embrace.

"I thought I lost you" He whispered in my ear.

"Well I'm back now" I whispered back.

"You're so cute Lizzie" Ryusaki said. We were so close we were almost kissing. I could feel my face redden.

"Good night" He whispered finally, and closed his eyes.
