Chapter two

"We should split up" Ray said while we at the seaport. "What! splitting up could be dangerous if we stick together we will be able to help each other"  I protested.

"I'm with Ray on this one this Like a spy mission and spies go alone don't they?" George said he was very quiet so for him to talk made it somewhat unique.

"But how are we going to get on the pirate ship", Matt asked feeling a bit uneasy.

"Well that's a method you all will individually devise, just make sure you get on the ship" Ray said.

"Ugh, I hate this guy" Matt murmured as he walked past me, I giggled a little, I was thinking of what to do when he approached me "Anna, How are you?" he said in front of me.

"Oh, cut the crap and tell me what you want" I spat. Ray and I never got along, we are always the best in class same rank In combat skills and others, being a girl made him feel devastated and ego shattered.

He chuckled a little. " you know me so well" he said and moved closer so that his lips were beside my ear. "You should really stop competing with me, I will always end up being the master of you in every aspect starting From gender" he whispered then  giving me a disgusting look before going making me groan in annoyance

"Oh that imbecile, I wish I could kill him". I Muttered out of annoyance before I decided to carry out my proposed plan.

Lucius P.O.V
"Where to next captain?" Geoffrey, one of my crew asked as they loaded food and drinks on board.

"Corab, I want to meet some merchants and  see what we can get from them", I answered him.

"All done captain", Harry another crew member said. "Okay y'all should get ready to pull to sea" I ordered. "Aye, Aye captain" They chorused

" Captain someone would like  see you", Micheal my right hand man said and walked up beside me. "Who is it?" I asked.

"Hello Captain" A feminine voice from behind me said, I turned around to see a very young beautiful lady in front of me, she had wavy blonde hair which was packed into a messy back bum, her eyes were ocean blue which looked prettier under the reflection of the sun. I looked down and saw her tummy, protruding, she was pregnant, now what does a pregnant woman have to do with me.

"Who are you and how may I help you?" I asked her sternly.

    "My name is Anna and I really.   need your help".

Silvanna's P. O. V.
"Isn't Corab a long journey from here?" "what's so long in a three weeks journey I heard  two of the pirates talking near their Ship, Corab, they must be going there now, just long enough for me to search their ship I went to the back of a building and quickly stuff the sack with some of my clothes then I put it inside my undergarments and quickly changed into a dress.

I looked like a regular pregnant woman, I went back and approached one of the other men who was talking the other time.

"Hello Sir" I greeted
"hello, any problem" he answered warmly
"are you by any chance going to Corab?"
   "yes, why? " he asked raising a brow
"first of all I'm Anna"
    "Michael, so?" he was getting impatient, noone had probably approached him like this before
  
   I took a deep breath. Here goes
"could you please take me with you to Corab?" he looked confused
  "they killed my husband and they are after me, they want to kill my child,  please I have a relative in Corab, I want to go and stay with her, I have no hope here anymore" I was trying my best to look helpless.

"Why not go to another ship?" he asked.
"this is the only ship going to Corab, this is my only hope" I said forcing tears out
"don't cry, I'll be lying if I say your story didn't touch me but this is not my decision to make, you have to meet the captain first"
"can you please take me to him"
 

I followed him up to the deck of the ship, the ship looked a bit old, it was big and obviously had everything one could need and there were lots of men, big men.
Michael stopped at the back of a man resting on the rails, facing the sea
"captain, someone would like to see you" he said
"who is it"
"hello captain" I said and he turned to face me.

Seeing him, I was shocked, he didn't look like all those pirate captains I've seen, he didn't have one eye, one leg or a hook or those long horrible beards and hair, he looked young and I couldn't deny the fact that he was very handsome, I watched as he scanned me, taking note of my fake pregnancy.This should work out, I thought

"who are you and how may I help you?" He asked sternly showing no emotions on his face
"my name is Anna and I need your help" he folded his arms and nodded signalling for me to continue, so I explained my fake story.
When I was done he raised a brow and thought for a while making me sense that he wasn't buying it
"and why are they after you?" he asked
Ugh, think Silvanna I said in my mind not knowing what to say
  
"he owed some people money,we couldn't pay back so they burnt our farm and killed him" I recovered quickly
"and what's your husband's name?"
"William, William gravante" I hadn't prepared a name so I just said the first name that came to my mind which was my father's

"No!"

"what? "

"I said no, I can't let you journey on my ship" he said and started to walk away
I fell to my knees and held his leg "please even if you don't do this for my sake do it for the sake of my baby" I said and started crying, I sneaked a peek at him and saw his features soften as he sighed
"okay, you can stay but stay out of my sight" he said and left without looking back .

Something about my "baby" made him agree to this, funny.
