Epilogue
(A/N: OMG, GUYS!! IT'S THE EPILOGUE NOW!!!! I CAN'T EVEN!! ASDFGHJKL!!)
{This is a third person's POV}
Valentine Blakewood picked up the baby carefully and cradled him in her arms, "who's the most adorable and cutest baby in the world? Mattie is!" She cooed happily as she swayed.
"Now just lay down in your car seat while I fix you your formula and your things." She smiled, as she strapped the baby into his car seat.
She went to the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of milk from the fridge and heated it, while it was heating she began tidying the living room. It was full of stuff toys and other gifts from his aunts and uncles.
"I'm back," Hunter Blakewwod said, closing the door quietly.
"Hey, can you look after Mattie for a while? I'm fixing his toys and heating up his bottle." She absentmindedly said.
"Sure," he replied, picking up the baby from his seat and lifted him up in the air. "Mattie, have you been a good boy today?"
The baby gurgled, as if he understood.
Val walked up to them, holding a bottle of formula in her hands, "here. Now I have to get changed too," she smiled one last time at Mattie and headed to their bedroom to get dressed.
Mean while, Hunter was playing with Mattie and talking to him as if he understood. Once Valentine was finished, she got Mattie's baby bag and toys and headed out the front door.
Hunter was a natural with kids. Mattie liked his very much, it took quite some time before he warmed up to Val, much to her dismay.
"Alright. I drive," She announced, walking back in, holding the car keys. "You make sure Mattie's alright."
"Val, he has a car seat. he can sit down while you sit shotgun." Hunter said, carrying the car seat into the car and strapped it securely.
Val came out again, holding Mattie in her arms, "Oh, alright."
She placed the baby on his car seat and strapped him up. While she did that, Hunter locked the doors. They went in the car and began driving.
"I think I'm taking you for granted, Hunt." Val suddenly said.
"Why is that?" He asked, as he quickly looked at her and looked back at the road.
"Well, we've been married for three years now and I'm still not ready." She fumbled with her fingers on her lap.
"Val, we talked about this over a hundred of times. I'm willing to wait as long as you want. Besides, we have one more year to go." He replied.
She looked at him, "You're right. Maybe I'll be ready by the time we graduate."
"It's for the best, Val. I don't want to push you into doing something you don't want."
"You're right," Val smiled and placed her hand on his.
"Now let's take Mattie to his parents." He grinned.
Mattie's parents, Mason and Addie lived twenty minutes away from where Hunter and Val lived. They met back two years ago, Mason and Addie were already a couple and Addie was expecting a baby. A year later, Mattie was born and another year later (which was this year, mind you) they recently just got married. And they went away for a week for their honeymoon and they entrusted Val and Hunter with Mattie.
"Thank you so much for looking after him, Val." Addison Brooks gushed. "I owe you so much now. First with Mason and now this."
"You don't owe me anything, Addie." She said, "it was such a great experience to look after Mattie."
"You should have a baby too, Val. You've been married for so long already."
"I just want to finish school first then Hunter and I can start our own family."

"Bedtime, you two." Valentine said, as she strode into the playroom.
Three year old Arianna and Cole looked up from their drawing and coloring books and whined at the same time. "Can't it wait a little bit longer?" They asked in unison.
"No, now let me tuck you both in." Val said.
The twins stood up and went to their bedrooms.
"Have you brushed your teeth yet?" Val asked.
"Yes," the replied in unison.
She tucked the both of them into their beds and gave them each a kiss on their foreheads. Just then, Hunter peered into the bedroom with a big smile.
"Daddy!" The twins cheered.
"Daddy, read me a story." Arianna demanded.
"Yeah, I want a story." Cole echoed.
Valentine sat down Cole's bed while Hunter got a fairy tale book from one of the selves and sat down Arianna's bed. "Okay, what story do you want to listen to?"
"Goldilocks!" Arianna said.
"Jack and the beanstalk!" Cole said.
"Only one story for tonight," Hunter said.
"Oh, alright." Arianna pouted.
"We can read the other one tomorrow night. Let's read Goldilocks first, hmm?"
"Oh, alright." Cole frowned.
"Don't worry, darling. Daddy will read you your story tomorrow night," Val said.
Cole instantly brightened. "Okay, Mommy."
Hunter began reading about Goldilocks and the three bears. Soon, the twins were out like a light. They kissed each of their foreheads and bid them goodnight softly.
Back in their room, Val smiled up to her husband. "Aren't you glad they're aleep?"
"I am. Boy, kids are a lot of hard work." He laughed, kissing her lightly.
The twins were born a year after they graduated college. Arianna came out first, and next was Cole. The first few months were very hard for the both of them. They moved out of their small apartment nearby the university and moved somewhere near their parents' house. The grandparents were very happy to have grand kids at last. Arianna grew up to be outgoing while Cole was the intellectual one. valentine spent twenty hours in pain, while Hunter was rushing on his way home all the way from Paris. He planned to give her a present for their five year anniversary.
"I love you, Hunt. You and the twins." Val snuggled up to him, eyes closed.
"I love you more, Val. And the twins," he laughed, wrapping his arms around her.
The End.
