Chapter 5
{Valentine's POV}
If you think Monday was the only day I hated, I could say the same for Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday was like an after shock of Tuesday and Monday. It was another crappy day, safe to say. Why, you might ask, is because I'm running extremely late today. Not just because I skipped Tuesday (with my parents knowing) but also because I was kinda lagging behind my studies now. You see, I'm a perfectionist student. I want my grades all A's and my attendance all present, but that went down the drain since yesterday.
"Val, where the hell were you yesterday?" Farrah demanded as soon as I sat next to her in History class.
"Sorry," I mumbled, "I kinda got sick yesterday." I excused.
"Funny because Hunter Blakewood was sick too, or at least that's what he said. Trinity tweeted that you guys skipped together, is that true?" She asked, with wide eyes.
"Heck, no. You know I would never associate myself with that d-bag." I said, frowning.
"Oh, right. Sorry. Just asking, you know. The whole school is actually eating this all up." She gave ma a sympathetic smile. "They believed it like as if she said Obama was the president of the United States of America."
"Farrah, he is the president of the USA."
"I know that, I was just--"
"Do you have something to share with the class, Miss Harries and Miss Jameson?" Yes, that was us. And yes, the teacher just interrupted our conversation.
"Oh, we were just talking about how oh-so fun your subject is, Sir." Farrah sent him a big and happy smile. Too sickeningly sweet, if I must say. She's so feisty.
"Why are you interrupting my class?" He demanded, angry that Farrah had to open up her big mouth.
"Why are you interrupting our conversation?" She countered back. Yup, she was one feisty girl.
"Miss Jameson and Miss Harries, detention after class today!" My jaw dropped. Detention? Was he serious?!
"I bet he didn't get laid last night," Farrah couldn't help but add loudly. The class erupted in laughter while the teacher fumed.
"Principals office now!" He shouted, pointing at the both of us. How much luck can I even get? I groaned, tugging Farrah's arm and got up quickly, leaving the room with our things.
"Of course you had to say something back at him. You know he hates us, Far." I gave her an angry look.
"Gee, sorry. He was just so annoying and I wasn't in a good mood." I bet it has something to do with her love life.
"And whyyy?" I drawled.
"Seth Micheals, thats why. He's such a prick." This statement made my eyebrows arise. Prick and Seth Micheals was never heard of in the same sentence.
"And again, whyyy?"
"He invited me to his party-" She began.
But I had to interrupt, "he personally invited you?"
"Well, no.. but I was still there. I was with Dan since you were sick and.." She shrugged. "I saw him making out with that sassy bitch Stacey Parker." Oh, yeah. Did I also mention that Trinity was Stacey's cousin? Well, yeah they are. Those bitches.
"She's a bitch, everyone knows that." I soothed her as her eyes started watering.
"I know, but.. why does he not like me instead of her? Why does Dan get tons of girls and I don't?"
