My Lady (Thor X Reader)

"Date?"

"A-a date?" You stammered, your eyes not separating from the man in front of you. "Y-yeah." He smiled looking down for a second. You fidgeted with the end of your braid. "Um, wow. I've never been out on a date before." You looked down embarrassed. He smirked. "Believe it or not, I haven't either." You looked up to meet his gaze, his comment making you smile. Both your faces just inches apart. "Well I think this is going to be interesting then." He smiled one more time before standing up, your gaze following him all the way up.

He turned back towards the fitting room, walking to it but stopping before he closed the door. He looked back at you. "Im going to take this, your not paying for it though." He said raising and eyebrow and pointing a finger at you. "But-" you began, Thor interrupting. "Nope. Don't worry about it." He said before disappearing behing the door.

A date!? With Thor!? How did this happen!? You began to freak out on your chair, as soon as the door clicked shut. I can't believe it! God what am I going to do? You bit your nails nervously, your gaze down on the floor. Suddenly Thor coming out with a big smile plastered in his expression. "Shall we?" He said signaling you towards the exit of the fitting rooms. "Um,Ofcorse." You smiled, standing up and fixing your shirt as you did.

Before heading home, you payed for the men's clothes and helped them bring all of the bags back to the car. The entire way back to your house, you clenched the steering wheel, thinking about the date with Thor. You asked yourself questions that only made you feel sick to your stomach and your hands sweaty.
Thor had been looking out the window again, you wondered what went through the God's mind.

I should gave bought myself a new outfit. You grumbled.

Back at the house ......

You swung the door open, being the first one to come into the house and walk to the kitchen. Thor and the gang set all their bags down on the table and sat down in the living room. You washed your hands and grabbed a glass from one of the cabinets for water. You took a sip from the glass, Bruce suddenly aproching you.

"Hey (y/n), I just wanted to say Thank you for everything. You've been really helpful." He said smiling, making you put your glass down. "Bruce, you are too kind, I'm only doing the right thing." You smiled back, joining Loki and Thor in the living room. "Seriously, you guys need to stop thanking me, I'm glad to help! You don't need to thank me all the time." You said slumping on the couch next to the two gods.

"But Lady (y/n), it would be discourteous not to thank you for all the kind actions." Thor said turning to look at you. "Really, I don't mind. It's just , I'm not really used to all this. I've been alone my whole life and, I don't know how to respond."

The three men gave you an understanding look, Bruce now seated on the couch opposite of you, Thor and Loki. "Alright (y/n)." Bruce nodded, Thor and Loki doing the same.

You sighed, clapping your hands and standing up. "Alright how about a movie?" You chirped, Bruce and Loki standing up at the same time. "That would be great but I think I'm going to start working on the earpiece." Bruce said pointing his thumb behind him. "Yeah, and I'm going to go read a book." Loki added, both disappearing up the stairs.

"Um, okay then...." You said sliding a loose strand of hair behind your ear as you the turned to look at Thor still seated on the couch. He had a smirk planted on his face and an arm stretched out behind him. You swallowed nervously. "Sooo." You began, standing awkwardly in front of him.

"So," he smiled. You sat down next to him. "Im sorry, I'm very bad at this." You shook your head embarrased, Thor laughed softly. "No need to apologize lady (y/n)." He grinned. Lady (y/n), so proper, so simple, so sweet. He is quite the gentleman. "Are you alright with going out right now?" He asked.

"Ofcorse." You nodded, standing up from the couch. "See you in 30?"
You raised an eyebrow. "See you in 30." He reapeted. You smiled and turned toward the stairs, swiftly jogging to your room.
