After Ragnarok destroyed Asgard, Thor decides to evacuate his people to Earth. It had been a while since he had visited the planet, and he didn't know a lot of people there apart from the Avengers. The ship lands in the middle of Red Lodge Montana...
You walked to the edge of the stairs, getting a full view of the living room. Thor was patiently waiting for you at the bottom of the stairs, his eyes immediately settling on you the moment he heard you coming.
He carried a red rose in his hands and a surprised smile in his expression , looking as handsome as ever in the suit he had modeled for you earlier. You began taking careful steps down the staircase, trying your best not to trip. His gaze followed you all the way down, but yours stayed put on your feet. You had finally reached the last step of the staircase, readjusting your dress and finally looking up to meet his beautiful blue eyes. The last step giving you a few extra inches of height allowing you to be almost face to face with the god.
You held your hands in front of your body timidly, smiling like an idiot and not knowing what to say.
"You look stunning lady (y/n)."
You looked down, your face turning cherry red. "Thanks, right back at you." You said meeting his gaze once again. "This is for you." He said handing you the rose he had been carrying. You smiled shyly, taking it from his grasp and carefully setting it down on the counter. "Thank you." "Shall we?" He said offering his arm. You intertwined arms with him nodding your head and together, walking out the door. His arms secure around yours.
"So, what's the plan?" You said turning to look at him curiously. He grinned, mischievously. "You'll find out soon." You giggled. "I thought Loki was the mysterious one?" He raised an eyebrow."Well, there is a lot of things you still do not know about me." "True." You smiled.
"So I am guessing we won't need my car?" "Yes." He nodded. "Alright then, lead the way." You said resting your other hand on his arm, Thor smiling at the gesture.
He lead you down the sidewalk of the neighborhood, the both of you quiet the whole way. I wonder where he is taking me? The butterflies in your stomach only intensified with every breath you took. After a while of walking, you had reached a wooden path that ran through the woods and was illuminated by many fairy lights.

Thor stopped in front of the bridge for a moment, allowing you to admire the view. You smiled contently, anxious to see where the bridge lead to. "Are you ready (y/n)?" He said looking down at you. Nodding your head, the both of you began walking again, the wooden bridge creaked under both your feet. Every little sound and detail around fascinating you, making your heart throb.
Then, that's when you saw it. The most beautiful thing you had ever seen in your entire life. In front of you stood a wooden gazebo that just like the bridge, was lit by fairy lights all around. A table settled in the middle with candles, a tray of fruit and a bottle of wine. There were two wine glasses, aswell as a chair in each side of the table.
You stood there with both hands over your mouth, frozen, all kinds of emotions hitting you like a wave. "Thor, y- you did this?" You said turning to look at him. "Yes." He shrugged. "You like it?" "This is amazing." You said looking around, a huge smile on your face. He smiled, grabbing you by the waist and leading you to your chair. He pulled it out for you then sat down on his own. Both of you now face to face.
He poured wine into each wine glass and handed one to you. You took it, briefly thanking him then taking a sip.
Setting the glass down, You slid your hair behing your left ear nervously, both of you just kind of starring then looking away.
"Thor I-" you began. "Yes lady (y/n)?" His blue eyes mesmerizing. "I want to say thank you for all of this. It's the nicest thing someone has ever done for me." He side smiled. "No need to thank me. You've done so much for us already." You smiled taking another sip from your glass. "Thor, can I ask you something?" "Ofcorse." He nodded.
"What was Asgard like? I always heard stories about this beautiful realm were the almighty gods lived, but that's all that there was to it. I've always wanted to know what is beyond this world." "Well," he looked down, holding both hands infornt of him.
"It was beautiful, no doubt about that. The kingdom was connected to a long rainbow bridge that almost glowed, and at the end of the bridge stood the bifrost. The bifrost was able to teleport you to any of the nine realms with just the turn of a golden sword." He moved his hands expressively as he talked. "Asgard had the best sunsets too. Whenever I had the opportunity, I would sneak out into the gardens In the palace and I would watch the sun go down until it became dark."
"That sounds wonderful." You said listening attentively as you leaned your cheek on your right hand. "It was." He looked down. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you sad." You said reaching out for him. "It's alright," he smiled. "It's nice to remember those things." He fiddled with a grape from the fruit tray. "You're right, I don't think we'd be here today if we didn't remember those things." He popped the grape inside his mouth. "Indeed."
Thor sighed suddenly changing the topic. "So (y/n), tell me about you, I only know a few things like, you work at a diner and you have lost a beloved one." I guess he doesn't want to talk about what happened, maybe hes not ready. You sighed "Um well there isn't really much interesting about me." You said half laughing. "Tell me who is (y/n)?" He said, You laughed akwardly.
"Um well, my full name is (y/n) (m/n) (l/n), I was born here in Red lodge Montana, and when- " You paused for a moment, Thor's gaze settled on you. "When I was very little, I lost both my parents in a car accident." You said looking down. "And that brought me to an orphanage at the age of ten. I stayed there my whole childhood due to no one wanting to adopt me, and when I was finally eighteen. I was able to get a job and buy a house." Thor looked like he was suddenly in pain, he took your hand and grasped it tight, both your eyes locking.
"I can't imagine what it must have felt like to loose your parents at such a young age." You fake laughed, Trying your best not to cry. "Well, I'm still here, right." You said. He smiled, rubbing his thumb on The back of your hand confortingly. "The black car I own, it used to be my dad's, he passed it down to me." You smiled. "How I loved that thing when I was child. My dad, he used to take me on road trips all the time and we would go hiking in the forest and do all kinds of adventurous things." Thor held your hand with both his hands now, his huge hands covering it whole. You sat up strait running your hand through your hair and raising your wine glass Infornt of you.
"Well anyway, cheers to all those terrible things that have happened in our past. May they be forgotten and may good things come our way. You smiled. "Cheers." Thor nodded. You bumped glasses then both took a sip, laughing together and exchanging looks.
