As Thor drove the spaceship on the way to Earth, his head filled with thoughts on what he was going to do once the ship landed. Everything seemed so surreal to him, and he especially never thought Asgard would finish in ruins. Loki approached his brother hands behind his back, seeing concern in Thor's expression. "Are you alright brother?" Loki asked, standing beside Thor who immediately turned to the sound of his voice.
"I'm well Loki, just thoughtful." A puzzled look formed in Loki's face. "And what is that you are thinking about?" Thor sighed. "Asgard, our father, what I'm supposed to do once we arrive in Midgard." Loki smirked, "Well that's definitely something." Thor shot Loki an annoyed look. "No seriously brother what I'm I supposed to do, father would have known what to do in these circumstances."
Loki sighed, shaking his head from side to side. "I never thought I would tell you this. You are now the king of Asgard, do what you think is best for the people." Thor smiled faintly, looking up at Loki then back at the abyss in front of him. "Thanks brother, you speak kind words."
Loki smirked once again, the conversation being interrupted by Heimdal. He was standing a couple feet beside the king and prince. "We have arrived." He announced. Thor smiled at the sight of the planet in front of him . Valkyrie and Banner were seating on the ground behind Thor, they had spent the whole way talking about Bruce's special ability which surprised Valkyrie. He had turned back to himself after Thor announced he was heading to Earth.
Valkyrie and Bruce walked up to Thor, both leaning against his chair and taking in the view. "Home." Bruce whispered. "Wow it's.....big." Valkyrie said clearly amused. "That's Earth?" Korg asked finally speaking, Miek still in his hands. "Yes my second home." Thor added, the ship going through the planet's atmosphere, blue sky and clouds surrounding them, The Asgardians began talking among themselves, anxiously waiting for landing.
After a couple moments of falling, Thor gracefully landed the gigantic thing onto an empty field. Everyone looked at the picture in front of them, mountains and fields of trees surrounded them. There was a brief moment of silence, everyone just starring. Suddenly the whole ship began cheering and clapping, Thor smiled from his chair, turning to look at his friends gleefully. "Wooh!" yelled Banner, raising his arm up in the air. "Well what are we waiting for? lets explore!" Valkyrie said patting Thor on the shoulder. "Whoa, hold on a second we are just going to go out like that? shouldn't we tell someone we arrived?" Loki interfered holding a hand infornt of Valkyrie and Banner.
They both stopped for a moment turning to look at Thor for his opinion. Realization suddenly hitting Bruce. "Your right! Everyone thinks I'm dead! I need to go find Natasha and everyone else." He said running his hand through his hair. Thor finally stood up from his chair wrapping an arm around Bruce. "Banner, first we need to find a way to contact Fury and the Avengers, see if they can help us set something up." Bruce shook his head, agreeing with Thor. "Okay, does this ship have some sort of radio or something we can use to contact your friends?" Valkyrie joined in. "Yes, but it seems to be broken." Loki said, eveyone turning to look at him. "What?" He shrugged innocently.
Thor turned back to Bruce, holding him by the shoulders. "Why don't you try to fix it while the rest of us go see what's around, sound good?" "But I-" "Good, see you in a bit." Everyone started walking out of the ship, leaving Banner with the broken radio. "Thor I don't know how to fix this thing!" "That's what you said before you were able to fly the ship back at Sakaar!" Thor said continuing to walk out.
