My Lady (Thor X Reader)

At Last

"Are you ready?" Thor said giving you a soft smile. You sighed. "As I'll ever be." He nodded, turning the doorknob and swinging the door open.

"LOKI YOU ARE NOT GETTING THAT EARPIECE." Bruce said as he tried to pull Loki's hand away from the earpiece. "LET GO OF ME PEASANT."

"What the heck is going on here?!?!?!" You yelled, making both men turn their heads your direction. They turned to look at each other then back at you and Thor. "He started it!" They both said in unison. You face palmed, shaking your head side to side.

"Loki, come on brother, get a hold of yourself!" Thor said helping Bruce to his feet. Loki scoffed, mumbling to himself as he got on his feet and brushed the invisible dirt off his clothes.

You shook your head once again, taking a deep breath then walking up to the table where the earpiece sat. You picked it up delicately with your pointer finger and thumb, bringing it up to your face to examine it.

"Funny what just the press of a button can do." You said turning to face the boys, smiling at them faintly. Bruce and Loki gave you confused looks. You sighed, walking up to Thor and taking his hand. He looked down at you, his bright blue eyes starring down at you intently.
You smiled, placing the tiny earpiece down on his hand and wrapping his fingers over it.
You met his gaze, smiling timidly. "Will you do the honors?" He looked at you with concern. "(Y/n) I don't want to force you into doing this." He said, in almost a whisper. "I want to do this, I want to be with you." You furrowed your eyebrows. He grinned, looking up to see his brother and best friend.

They both looked at you and Thor, realizing how much you both cared for one another, how much you loved him. Thor looked down at his hand then at you, waiting for your approval. You nodded your head softly.

He looked down at his hand once again, opening it to reveal the earpiece. He took a breath, closing his hand again, and clicking the small button. The earpiece beeped once, meaning it had given Avengers headquarters the exact location of where the SOS button had been activated.
"That should have done it." Bruce said taking the earpiece from Thor. There was a brief moment of silence, the four of you looked around unsure of what to do. "So what now?" You said switching your gaze between the three men standing before you. "I guess we wait." Loki said shrugging his shoulders.

A shiver ran down your spine, the situation suddenly making you feel anxious. You began to shake nervously, your mind going off on what would happen once the rest of the Avengers arrived. What will they be like? Will they try to kill me? How will they react when they see where Thor, Loki and Banner have been. Will they accept my relationship with Thor? Millions of questions came to you, making you more and more anxious.

"Hey, don't worry I won't let you off my side." He said wrapping his arm around your waist and giving you a reassuring smile, as if he had read your thoughts. You returned the gesture, his touch comforting you.

You watched as Loki and Bruce continued to argue in the kitchen. Thor shook his head, taking your hand and guiding you upstairs. "There is no such thing as peace with them around." He chuckled. "Can they do anything but fight?!" You giggled as you hopped up the stairs. "Apparently not." He laughed, opening your bedroom door. You went inside, jumping into your bed, as Thor shut the door. You laid in your bed with your arms crossed, Thor sliding next to you. He wrapped his arms around you pulling you close to him. "How long do you think it will be until the rest of the Avengers arrive?" You said tilting your head up to see him. "Honestly, I don't have a clue." He said rubbing your back. "Do you really think they'll like me?" You said worriedly. He sat up, turning to face you.  "(Y/n) what are you saying, of corse they will! You are the most beautiful, smart and kind person I know! They'll love you, I'm sure of it." He said caressing your cheek. You gave him a soft smile before laying back down next to him.
It wasn't long until the both of you had fallen asleep in each other's arms. Your head rested on Thor's chest as his arms wrapped around you securely.

The two of you remained like that the entire night until the sun peaked through the window.
A brand new day, meaning a brand new start.
