My Lady (Thor X Reader)

Preparations

The next day ...

You weren't able to sleep that night with all the excitement of leaving your town for the first time. It all felt so surreal. You slid out of bed at around 6 in the morning, grabbing a shower and packing your things as quietly as possible as to not wake Thor.

You placed a couple of outfits in a backpack and all the lady essentials. You didn't know how long this trip would be, but it would sure take a couple days. Not wanting to come down with a huge luggage, you only filled a backpack. Should be enough. You said nodding your head. Suddenly you heard Thor shuffling in bed, you turned around to see that he had turned on his other side but remained asleep. You tiptoed back into bed, wrapping your arms around him and snuggling close to him. He felt your presence, taking your hand and giving it a soft kiss before turning around to face you so that your arms were now wrapped around his neck.

"What are you doing awake this early in the morning?" He said with a smile. "I'm just packing my things." You returned the smile. "Are you exited?" "Mmh-mm." You nodded with a grin. "Alright then, just five more minutes." He said before pulling you into his arms and rolling onto his back so that you were on top of him. "Thor! We need to leave soon! We don't have time for sleep!" You giggled, sitting up on top of him.

He sighed, faking a frown. "Alright Alright, if you really wish to." You gave him a quick peck before rolling off of him. You watched as he walked to the restroom, admiring his figure. He must have felt you stare, as he half turned to give you a smirk. You looked down embarrassed as Thor chuckled before closing the bathroom door.

You laughed to yourself, putting a loose strand of hair behind your ear. You stood up from the bed, walking over to your dresser to grab your camera when all of a sudden a gleam coming from one of the drawers caught your attention. You slid the drawer open and saw Thor's eyepatch sitting at the bottom. A flashback of the first time you saw him without it suddenly came to you. You smiled at the memory, carefully taking the eyepatch out and tracing its outline with your index finger.

Suddenly you heard Thor turn the shower off. You grasped the eyepatch and carefully slid it inside your backpack. He might need it later. Not soon after, Thor came out of the restroom dressed. His hair still slightly damp from the shower. "Is everyone awake?" Thor asked approaching you. " I'm not sure, I haven't been out or heard anyone downstairs." You shrugged your shoulders. "Ah, well let's find out." He beamed a smile before taking your hand and guiding you downstairs.

"Good morning love birds!" Tony said raising up his coffee cup. "Good morning?" You said giving Tony an awkward look. "You'll get used to him." Thor whispered in your ear before going to open the fridge. You chuckled to yourself, grabbing the kettle from the stove and pouring clean water inside for tea. Suddenly Loki and Steve walked in. "Morning everyone!" Cap grinned waving at the crowd. "Good morning! You too Loki." You smiled including him. "Good morning (y/n)." He gave a small smile.

As you all began to make yourself breakfast, the rest of the Avengers joined in. Soon, you where all ready to go and almost out the door.

"The quinjet is ready to go guys! We are leaving in 5." Steve said exiting the house. You stood beside the front door, giving Thor a terrified look as he made his way towards you. "Are you Alright?" He said bringing you into a hug. "It's just I've never been inside a plane or jet." You said digging your face into his chest. "That's what's bothering you?" "I know, it's stupid." He shook his head. "No, it's not stupid. Regardless of what you think, I think you'll actually enjoy the ride." You gave him a small smile.

Suddenly everyone appeared at the front door with backpacks and duffel bags. "Everyone ready?" Tony said, dressed in his classic formal suit and shades. "All set." Bruce said grabbing onto his backpack straps. "Alright, everyone out." Steve said pointing to the door as everyone stepped out of the house.

You took one last look at your house before stepping out, Loki observing behind you. "You know it's just a couple of days right? It's not like you are leaving forever." He said chuckling. You turned around to face him. "I know." You looked down. At this point everyone was outside.

"I'm just really nervous. Loki I love him, and I don't want to mess this up." "(Y/n) you won't. He loves you just as much and he wants you to be by his side. You are going to do great." He gave you a reassuring smile. Suddenly you hugged him, catching him off guard. He hesitated for a moment before hugging you back. Since the beginning you knew that you and Loki would come to be good friends. You knew it would take time but it would come to be eventually, and you were glad it finally happened.

After a few moments, Steve came in looking for both you and Loki. "Everything Alright?" You both let go, smiling before turning to Cap. "All good." You said with a grin. "Follow me." Steve nodded his head once, you turned to Loki who gestured you to go first. You gave him a thankful nod and walked out the door feeling the cool morning breeze on your skin. You took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh aroma. "The quinjet is waiting for us a few feet inside the forest. We didn't want to get anyone's attention." Steve clarified as he guided you and Loki into the forest.

After 5 minutes of walking, you finally reached the opening where the quinjet was. You saw everyone ready and seated inside. You went up the stairs carefully, Thor greeting you with a smile. You sat next to Thor, Loki seating in the seat across from you both. Finally everyone was in and the quinjet doors were closed. Your heart began to race as the engine went on and slowly the jet began to rise. "Did something happen at you're house?" Thor asked, a concerned expression on his face. You paused for a moment. "I just forgot something." "Ah." He grinned pulling you into his lap.

"Hey guys, we're gonna have to make a quick stop to pick someone up at Avengers Headquarters first. We need the extra help."  Steve said from the front of the jet.

You nodded looking out the window to see your surroundings. All the trees and buildings had disappeared, only clouds were visible around you. Beautiful. "Wonderful view isn't it?" You turned your gaze to Thor. "I knew you'd like it." He smiled, kissing your forehead. You gazed into his eyes, caressing his cheek. "I love you Thor Oddinson." He ran his hand through your hair and rested his hand on your right cheek.

"I love you my lady."
