Shopping Trip

It had only taken you about twenty minutes to reach the town, Red lodge was a small place after all, the population just above two thousand people. Thor had been looking out the window the whole way to the hardware store, his gaze lost in the world around him. Loki and Bruce stayed quiet aswell, no one wanting to disturb the other. You drove peacefully reaching a stopping point in front of the store, signaling your companions to exit the Impala.
It was Friday, so the town was busy, whatever that meant for a small town anyway.

The four of you entered the store, Thor holding the door open as you went in, the gesture making you blush.

There were only a few people wondering about the shop, you looked around, not much going on. "Grab what you need Bruce." You said waving your hand around, Loki already lost in the gardening isle. Bruce frowned for a moment. "I don't have money to pay." He said. You shook your head. "Don't worry, it's on me." You replied. He smiled thankfully, "Thank you (y/n)." He said shaking your hand. "Don't worry about it, now go on." You smiled once again, watching him stroll off into one of the isles.

You turned around to see a grinning Thor, your raised an eyebrow. "What?" You asked confused. He looked down, shaking his head softly. "I just don't understand." He began, slowly walking towards you. "Why are you helping us?" He said, his eyes never leaving yours. You looked down, smirking. "Well, it's the right thing to do. It's what I would have wanted." You said meeting his beautiful blue eyes.

"You are trully too kind lady (y/n)" He grinned, his chin just above your head. "I don't know about that..." You said putting a loose strand of behind your ear. God he is perfect. "(Y/n)! I think I've got everything! You heard an excited Banner yell from one of the isles. You giggled, shaking your head. "Shall we?" You said pointing your thumb behing you. "Ofcorse." He smiled.

Side by side you and Thor walked to the register where Bruce was, his arms filled with tools, lights and many other things. "Need help there?" You said sticking your hand out. He shook his head from side to side, putting all the items down in the counter. "Um, no I-I think I got it." He smiled.

Once ready, the cashier scanned all the items that banner had set down. He bagged them, and charged you. Loki had joined the three of you at the cashier, he stood beside Thor, staring at everything around him. "Anything catch your eye? You said, as you helped out Bruce with the bags.

"Not really." He furrowed his eyebrows as he walked with his hands behind his back. "Hmm, well we still have to go buy y'all some clothes, I'm sure you'll find something."

The four of you walked out of the store and back to the Impala. You set the bags in the trunk and locked the car. "Are we not riding in your car?" Loki asked confused. "Oh no, the shops are not that far away, We can get there by foot." You said shutting the car trunk. "Let's walk then!" Thor said cheerfully. You giggled as you began to walk foward, leading the three men down the sidewalk.

Soon, the four of you were walking around stores, grabbing pants, shirts, and pijamas. If they were going to be staying at your house for a couple of days, they had to be comfortable, right?

You helped each one grab something they liked, and even gave them your opinion on each of their choices. Loki was the hardest one out of the three. He wasn't used to Midgardian clothes so it took him a while to choose something. And ofcorse, Bruce was ready in less than 20 minutes with a pile of clothes in his hands.

"Lady (y/n), I need your opinion on an outfit..." Thor said aproching you with two hangers in his hands as you were looking through a rack of clothes alongside Loki. "Um sure, Loki why don't you finish here? I'll be right back." He nodded his head, continuing to look through the rack.

You followed Thor to the fitting room. Seating down on one of the chairs placed in the center of the room and watching as he shut the door behind him.

As you waited for Thor to come out, you felt as the judge of fashion show waiting for the next contestant to come out. It was strange, you felt so weird being accompanied for the first time in your life, making friends, and beginning to feel things you'd never felt for someone before. Was your life finally changing for good? You had been asking yourself all sorts of things as you waiting for Thor to come out. Finally after a few moments he did, your jaw dropping at the sight of the beautiful man in front of you.

He was wearing a blueish gray suit, with a white bottom down shirt underneath and black dress shoes. Breathtaking. "So... what do you think?" He said adjusting his top. "Uh, w-well." You stammered seating up straight. You continued to stare at him. Thor just waited patiently, scratching the Back of his head. "Um I'm sorry, I'm just-" you said nervously, putting a strand of hair behind your ear for the billionth time.

He made his way towards you, squatting in front of the chair you were seating on. "I know it's a little unusual that I am wearing this, but I was hoping that you would grant me the honor of taking you out on a..." He trailed off, twirling a finger in the air as he thought of the word he wanted to say. "A date? It that what you midgardians call them?"
