Mrs. Cox

Harry pulled up to his Mum and Stepdad's house. You took a deep breath.

Harry: She loves you already.

You: How though?

Harry: What do you think we talk about when we're on the phone?

You smiled as you both got out of the car. He walked around to your side of the car and grabbed your hand.

Harry: Ready?

You nodded: Ready.

You both walked up to the house. Harry got out his keys and opened the door. You immediately smelled the fresh scent of sweet pea. Harry picked up your luggage and motioned you through the door.

Harry: Mum! We're home!

You heard someone in the kitchen.

Anne: Harry?

You saw her walk around the corner, she was so gorgeous.

Anne screamed: Harry! My baby is home!

She ran towards him and hugged him; you saw tears fall from her eyes. When her bright green eyes met yours you saw a smile start to grow on her face. She backed up still holding Harry's arms.

Anne: So this is Sonia?

Harry wrapped his arm around your waist brushing a piece of hair out of your face.

Harry: Yes Mum, this is Sonia. Sonia this is my mum.

You reached out your hand: Nice to meet you Mrs. Cox.

She smiled and ignored your handshake. She flung her arms around you: Awh you are so cute! Call me Anne please!

You smiled as she held your face. She turned to Harry.

Anne: She's a gorgeous one Haz. You pick well.

Harry smiled at you: Yeah she is.

You saw Anne glance at your finger and her eyes widened.

You held both of your hands.

Harry: Erm Mum... we have a few things to tell you.... how about we talk about it over a cup of tea.

Anne nodded and grabbed her coat and keys.

She smiled: Let's go.

You all drove in Anne's van. You and Harry sat in the backseat you felt like you were going to on your first date before you were able to drive or something. When she pulled up to the lot you all got out.

You all walked into the coffee shop. Anne ordered Yorkshire Tea as did Harry. You were craving a vanilla latte but you wanted to stay healthy for the baby so you got a water. You all sat down and you took a deep breath. Anne sipped her tea waiting for one of you to talk. You heard Harry clear his throat; your stomach tied in knots. You looked over; he was staring at his cup of tea. He looked up at his mum doing his signature hair flip.

Harry: Mum.....

Anne: Yeah babe... what's going on?

Harry: We... erm...

You: Ms. Anne. We're engaged.

She sat up and smiled with tears streaming down your face: My baby is getting married?

Harry smiled.

Anne: I'm going have a daughter in law?

She got up and hugged you tightly and whispered: I'm so happy for you.

You whispered back: And you're going to be a grandma.

She let go of you and held her hand over her mouth. She started softly crying and smiling. You could tell she was happy.

She hugged Harry: Oh my god Harry.

She looked at both of you wiping her eyes and laughing: Oh my god!

You all laughed you talked about the baby and the wedding. You heard Harry's phone vibrate, you looked over at him, you saw his eyebrows bunch together. You could tell something was up.

You: Baby, what's wrong?

Harry: I have to go...

You: What? Why?

Harry: They need me back in Georgia tonight....

You smiled but Harry could see the pain behind your eyes.

Harry held your face:  I know baby.... I'll try hard to be back tomorrow.

You: No it's okay, I'll go alone!

Anne: Oh no you won't! I'll go with you babe if you'd like!

 Harry kissed his mum's head: I love you Mum.

He kissed you on the lips: I love you babe.

You: I love you too.

Harry: I'll take a cab back home and leave your luggage in my mum's house if that's alright.

You nodded feeling the tears fill your eyes.

He held your face: We'll be together again soon. I promise.

He smiled making you smile.

Harry: I love you so much.

You felt the tears flow on out: I love you too.

You stood up and hugged him, you kept hugging him till you finally realized you had to let go. You held his hand, and felt his fingers leave yours. You sat there and watched him leave; watching him leave was the toughest thing you had to do. He got in a cab and left. You started crying.

You felt a sharp pain in your stomach.

You: Aghh! Ow!

You fell to the ground.

Anne: Oh my god! Someone call an ambulance!
