I woke Maria up early the next day.
It was 6 in the morning when I dragged her out of bed. "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy do we haaaaaaaaaaaave to gooooooooooooooooooooo?", she complained.
"We're going to Mewni," I said firmly.
"What?!"
"It's either that, or go to school."
"Actually, school isn't so bad. Jackie's there."
Uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh.
"Fine, safe kid", I teased.
"Nobody calls me that anymore", Maria complained.
"The more you go to school, the better chance you'll earn a new nickname", I warned.
Maria groaned. "Fine," she finally said.
"Good," I said. "I'll need your dimensional scissors."
*********************************************************************************************** I opened a portal to Mewni. Before Maria could comprehend the situatuion, I pulled her through the portal. We landed just in front of Butterfly castle. And the castle was under attack.
I reached for my wand, but all I had was a pen. It didn't matter anyway. I told Maria, "We're goin' in."
Ludo.
I saw Ludo.
But where were his monsters?
And why is he here, now that I don't have the wand.
Oh right. He doen't know.
I guess i'll still have to kick his butt.
Maria and I charged. We ran straight up the castle stairs, right pass the guards.
"Intruders!", one of them shouted.
Great. Just great. Now we had to find and find a way for the guards to stop chasing us.
We ran faster.
"Uh, Stan?"Maria said.
"Yes?"
"Look."
Maria pointed upwards.
There was Ludo, poking some of the guars with a javelin. And fighting beside him was a...taller younger-looking version of Ludo, also poking guards.
"You're doing great, Dennis", Ludo called.
Dennis?
"Thank you, big brother."
Ludo had a little brother? What the heck?
Ludo and Dennis stared at us. "Who are you two?"
Before he even finished his sentence, Maria and I attacked.
We both fought with our hands, and the brothers panicked.
"Okay, hey wait a second. What do you want from us?", Ludo asked.
"Huh?"
"What do you want? Am I gonna have to repeat it again?"
Maria and I exchanged looks.
"We want you stop attacking Butterfly castle", Maria said.
"Okay".
Really? Easy as that?
"Is this a trick?", I asked suspiciously.
"No. I was just training Dennis here, to be just like me."
