Chapter 16: New York & Are You Sure?

Em's P.O.V:

I was going to tell my mom what Shawn told me because I remembered the lable still wanted us to make a album together. I got downstairs and my mom was watching tv and making a frozen pizza she than put it in the oven. "Hey, mom the lable wants us to go to New York like now so we can start on the first song with Shawn." she than dropped everything and said, "lets go!" I than laughed and said "Mom, please don't make things so weird like dad use to do with the boys I date or dated."

She than smirked and said, "Alright I won't is Rosie and Matt coming as well?" I than remembered that I forgot about my brother. I than put my finger up signaling to hold on or be right back.

As soon as I did that I ran upstairs and knocked on Matts door. "Who is it!?" he seemed pretty loud if you ask me. "Your sister who the hell else Matt?" he than laughed on the other side of the door. "Good point anyway, come in." I opened the door Matt was editing a video, "hey Mom and I are going to New York for my career so are you going to be okay here?" he stopped editing when I said be fine and here in the same sentence.

He smirked, "Ooohh, uhhh, yeah pshhh of course." I laughed because I knew he was lieing to me. "No parties!" he than put his hands on his head and said, "No shit. Don't worry. I won't. Or will I?" I than put my hands over my chest and rolled my eyes and said, "Matt. I mean it. I just don't want trouble for you." he nodded his head and got up from the computer chair.

And he was getting closer and closer than SMACK! Right on my face and he had his hidden camera on and said, "SMACKCAM!!!!" I than wiped what was toothpaste off my face and went in the bathroom to get some.

I came back and saw Matt still editing and did it back to him. He was pissed at me. "EMILY WHAT THE FUCK!?" I was laughing so hard. Matt than came running after me saying, "Thats it Im coming to for you. And so is the tickle monster." we ran all the way downstairs.

Until, mom stopped us and said, "No parties Matthew and you can only have Rosie and the other boys from Magcon because I trust them. Understood?" he than nodded his head, "Okay, now thats out of the way please behave. You know where everything is, pizza is in the oven and Dad should be home soon. Okay?" he smiled at me and my mom, "Okay, love you Mom have a safe trip and I understand everything you just said."

She than looked at me and than Matt, "Is there something going on that I don't know about?" we both shook our heads. "Okay, well than I love you too Matt bye." he gave her a hug than I gave him a hug. "Love you weirdo I'll text you when we're off the plane.", "Alright bye loser." right after he said that. I walked in front of him and went in the cab with my mom.

After we left the airport, my mom got a text from Matt.

Matt: Mom when is dad coming home and are you guys almost there?

my mom showed me the text and than put down her phone because she couldn't have it out on the plane.

The plane ride was almost over. Than I got a text from Shawn.

Shawn❤: Umm, are you on your way?

I put down my phone because of the same reason and showed my mom the text. She just gave me the look of nope an hour more than we'll be there.

An hour passed by and we were getting off the plane. I didn't sleep very well because I was to busy thinking about Shawn.

We were going downstairs than we realized there was a man holding a sign that said our names. I couldn't believe it.

I told my mom that I didn't want a private car and that I wanted to be treated normal. She understood and went to the front desk and asked for a cab. My mom came back and told me it would take 10 minutes.

I nodded in agreement. She ran back and said to the women that it was okay. Thab I got a text from Matt.

Matt: Are you off your plane now?

I laughed and turned off my phone for a bit. My mom brought up Shawn, "So you're writing an Album with him?" I than nodded in agreement to that, "Are you sure thats what you want Emily?" I thought about it to myself.

"Earth to Emily?" my mom said waving a hand torwards my face, "Sorry mom but yeah I just want o sing mom."

"Okay, Matt text you the same thing he texted me?" we laughed a little because Matt missed us. "Yes, shall we text him back?" my mom than looked at me in a silly way, "No, he'll get the hint."

A cab finally came and they put our bags in. We were sitting in the car my manager Barbra called. "Whats up Barb?"
