Chapter 30: Oh My God!!

Matt's P.O.V:

Shawn thought it was cool to just grab you know Em's hand. He didn't understand that just cause she's in the hospital doesn't mean everything is all good. I knew I had to make up some way for him to hop off my sister. I came up with a brilliant plan.

"Shawn listen I know since Em's been here things haven't been the easiest for you. But guess what I don't care." He was confused & concerned.

"Matt come on man you know I didn't mean those things I said back there. I love Emily and I'm not leaving her." I just shook my head in disbelief. "How can I believe that bro when you did leave her the first time?"

Em still had her eyes close but the doctors told me that she could hear me and Shawn talking about whatever we were talking about.

"Because man she means the world to me and if I didn't care about her than I wouldn't be here!" Shawn seemed really sure of what he was saying but I still didn't believe him. He made a mistake the first time I get it but I don't want that mistake to happen again. I won't let it happen again.

Shawn was still holding Em's hand he was holding it like it was going to be the last time holding it.

Shawn's P.O.V:

I know Matt didn't trust me at this point because of what I did to her but he doesn't get that I've been here since the accident and I wasn't planning on just walking away I mean I love Emily. I hurt her but that was only because she hurt me. I know I sound like a total ass but thats the only reason why I did what I did. I really do love her but I know when she wakes up she probably wont give me a second chance. I looked at her closely I knew she was going to wake up she's my babe my star. I just want to feel her lips kiss back on mine. Matt than mentioned something. "I know you love my sister but can you go? I really just want to be alone with her. " I chuckled cause I can't believe he just told me that is he joking!? But I had to respect it. He hasn't seen Em since the night that all of this has happened its been a month since the accident and she still hasn't woken up obviously but I want to be here when she does. I have to be.

"Fine I'll go but I'm going to get an orange juice in the cafeteria do you want anything?" Matt shook his head. I knew he didn't want me here but like I said I'm NOT leaving Em.

Emily's P.O.V:

I heard them talking I woke up on time to hear that Shawn loved me and that he didn't mean what he said and I love him. Its just I... I don't think its best if he stays here I need to let him go. I need to tell him bye maybe he and I should break up. I need time. I want to wake up! I need to wake up. I need to tell him! I don't want to hurt him though. I heard Matt say something something that changed me after Shawn left.

"Emily I want you to wake up I want to talk to you about Shawn not like this where I feel like I'm talking to myself I want to talk to you face to face. I want you to tell me how you feel about Shawn. I want to know if you are playing Shawn or if you really care about him. I want you to tell Shawn how you made him feel so I won't feel like some messenger." I was standing behind like a screen that where my eyes should be. I could see the expression on his face the begging face. We use to use it when we were kids. It would work when we would want something. God knows if he would want to wake me up. But I'm hoping its now because my brother is being ripped apart.

I felt empty inside at this point like God said you know we want you in heaven to know what you left behind, and I know what I left behind. I left a broken brother by himself and guys I hurt behind.

I need to make things right with everyone I got up from my spot where I was sitting and screamed "PLEASE GIVE ME A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT GOD!!!" I than started to cry.

Matt's P.O.V:

I talk to Em I was going to leave but after I said what I said to her I noticed something. It was a tear!! Shawn came inside and I started crying! "Whats wrong Matt? Matt come on man tell me whats wrong?" He came running to me and dropped his orange juice. "Em just let a tear fall. She's crying." I felt her hand squeeze me hard like she was having a nightmare. I wanted to shake her and hug tell her everything was going to be alright. "Oh my god!" Shawn yelled and started to cry. I knew why I was crying but not why he was. He must've really loved my sister.

I hugged Shawn and we just started crying together. A nurse came in. "Did she cry yet?" we let go and looked at her strangely. "Uhm yeah.. how did you know?" she smiled in a sweet way and said "because that's what my sister did before she woke up. God bless you your sister is going to wake up soon. Maybe you should call the rest of your family and friends. Its a happy moment for you." she left after checking Em's IV's. I huffed in amazement and left the room to call Rosie and I text the guys telling them to come to the hospital they were all coming because they had an event in Virgina already. My mom was on her way and the guys all said in the group message that they were in the front. I saw Jack J running I knew he loved my sister and he'd do anything for her. The guys followed behind Jack J even Nash. "Hey how is she holding up so far?" Nash said out of breath. "She's doing great. Aye no problems today its suppose to be a happy moment for Em." he nodded and went into her room.

Jack G came in with balloons saying "Welcome Back!!" I laughed.
