"Ill be home soon" May said, kissing him on the head before, closing the apartment door behind her.

Peter gave a slight smile and waited for the door to click. Finally! He jumped off the couch and towards his room.

"Spider-Man reporting for duty!" The teen said to himself in the mirror, throwing his mask over his curls. He stripped down and changed into the suit.

"Good Evening Peter!"

"Hey Karen! Ready?"

Peter grabbed his web-shooters off his desk and activated them while jumping put his bedroom window. Shooting a web out of his palm, he swung to his favorite rooftop.

The teen sat in the sun, looking around for anyone in need of help.

A few miles away, Peter's Spidey senses kicked in, 'screams'. He quickly launched himself in the direction of the endangered people.

A terrible ringing noise, a combination of a horrifying scream and an exploded gun, filled Peter's ears.

He shot his webs faster, swung farther, and didn't stop. He reached the corner of a small drug store on the outside of town, not too far away from his apartment.

He landed on the scene, greeted by a crowd of terrified people. He heard sirens as he pushed the crowd away from what they were crowding.

'NO'
'THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!'
'NO'
'PLEASE'

Tears streamed behind the Spidey mask as he saw the limp body on the ground.  He fell to his knees by their side, trying to keep them alive.

'WHY'
'I WAS TOO LATE'
'TOO SLOW'

He clutched the unconscious victim in his lap as he tried to contain the blood pouring out of their side.

The medical teams got there soon after, taking the victim from Peter's arms. "They're going to be fine." The medic reassured Spider-Man.

Peter slowly stood up as they lifted the body into the back of the ambulance.

When they left the crowd stopped and stared right at Peter. Staring like they could see right through his mask, and see the weak tears pouring out of his eyes.

He shot a web from his palm, sipping off into the slowly dimming sun, disappearing.

"May come on. It's been two weeks. You cant do this to me!" Peter said to his aunt is still unconscious as tears continued to pour out of his eyes.

"May come on. It's not funny anymore." Peter sobbed, "You don't joke about comas. That's too far." The doctors watched Peter from the hospital room window.

"Call him." One doctor said to another, as he scurried off to find a more quiet place. The phone started to ring and was answered in two.

"This is Tony Stark."
