"Come on! Knock it off you jerk!" I said as I tried to reach for the tv remote.

"Wait! I wanna watch my show!" He said as he raised it even higher above his head.

I sighed and sat back down. "You suck you know that?" I slapped his arm.

"Hold on, just 10 more minutes then you can watch whatever you wanna watch."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone letting my legs rest on his lap.

So, Chris and I have been the best of friends since forever. I don't even know how long.

--

It all started in the 5th grade. It was time for a new seat arrangement in class. Then the teacher put Chris and I together. We never really talked but until then, we would always get yelled at for talking to each and not paying any attention in class.

I even remembered the exact words that he had said to me before we became best buds.

"Analyn, I think you're my new best friend!" He smiled.

We practically did everything together.

I even found out that he lived in the same block as I did.

So this is where we are now. Best friends all the way to our last year in college.

He is basically like a big brother to me.

--

"Alright, here's the remote. That show was whack anyways." He sounded disappointed.

"Thanks. Jerk." I took the remote and flipped through the channels.

"Shut up. You're such a dork."

"You guys are always fighting!" Lisa said as she walked in.

That was Chris' mom. She loves me like I'm her own daughter.

"Yeah yeah." Chris said as he waved his hand.

"You guys are so weird." She said wandering off into the kitchen.

Our families are really connected.

Scott, his younger is like my gay best friend. He would always make me laugh. He's amazing.

Chris' sisters, were like my older sisters. I can always come to them for advice and I can always trust them with anything. I love them to death.

We are almost finished with our last year in college and Chris was planning on being an actor.

Which sounds amazing! He is really good at it too. I've been to all of his plays in middle school and high school. I think he's going to kill it.

So, I haven't really decided on what I really wanted to do. Maybe I should become a professional basketball player. That has been my dream my whole life.

I don't know.

We'll see.
