Chapter 5

I woke up and went downstairs pouring myself some coffee.

I found my mom at the counter on her laptop typing.

"Hey mom."

"Hey sweat heart. How'd you sleep?"

"Well. I guess. I'm gonna go to Chris' house. If thats okay."

"Sure. Just don't get home too late."

"Okay thanks mom." I went upstairs got ready and drove over there.

I opened the door, walking into the kitchen greeting Lisa.

"Good morning Lisa!" I gave her a hug.

"Good morning! Do you want anything to eat?"

"Uh, no thanks, I just ate." I said patting my stomach.

"Where's Chris?" I asked.

"He didn't come home yet for some odd reason."

"Oh.." I said with disappointment.

"Don't worry he'll be home soon. I just called him."

"Oh okay. Where's Scott?"

"He's in his room. Go on up there!"

I ran up the stairs knocking on Scott's door.

"Hey Scott, it's Analyn. Can I come in?"

"Sure!"

I came and sat on his bed.

"What's wrong?" He asked pausing his game.

"Nothing.." I tried to say it like nothing was going on my mind. But really, I missed Chris.

"You miss Chris don't you?" He asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah.. But it's okay. I can handle it. So what are you playing?" I said trying to change the subject.

"I was just playing some black ops."

"Oh."

I heard a car pull up. I looked out his window and it was Chris. But then I saw the bitch.

Ugh. I just feel like something is bad about her. But Chris is just too blind to see it.

I ran out of Scott's room standing at the top of the stairs.

"Hi Chris!" I yelled running downstairs and hugging him tight.

I really did miss him I guess.

"Woah woah, hey!" he hugged back.

"How's your day going?" He asked with his arm around my shoulder.

"Good, yours?"

"Awesome."

"Uhh, hey mom? There's someone here that I want you to meet." He called to her.

"Coming Chris!"

"Who is this?" She asked smiling.

I stepped away and stood next to Lisa.

"Well mom, meet my girlfriend, her name is Bethany." He smiled putting his arm around her waist.

My heart sank.

"Bethany this is my mom Lisa."

"Mom, Bethany."

"Bethany, mom." He said looking back and forth to the both of them.

"Nice to meet you Bethany." Lisa said sticking out her hand.

"Pleasure!" She said shaking back.

"Bethany, meet my bestfriend, Analyn."

I put on a fake smile and shook her hand.

Ew.

"Nice to meet you Analyn." She said smiling.

God, I can just hear the sarcasm in her voice.

"Nice to meet you too Bethany." I smiled.

"Come on! Sit! Sit down!" Lisa ushered them.

I walked back upstairs going to Scott's room.

"Ew, the bitch is here. Really where? Is it the one that Chris was making out with? The one at the club?"

"Yes, go look for yourself." I glared at the door.

He whispers turning back to me, "Ugh, that bitch?"

"Yup." I started laughing because of the tone that he used in his voice.

He closes his door,
"To be honest, I also don't think that he should be with that girl. There's just something wrong with her that doesn't seem right."

"Thank you! Finally someone who understands me!"

"Lets go downstairs and see what they're talking about." I said.

"Yeah, lets go."

We both walked downstairs laughing.

"Oh, who's that?" Bethany asked.

"That's my little brother, Scott."

"Oh! Hey Scott!" She waved.

He looked at me rolling his eyes, "Hi."

"Well it was nice meeting you Lisa, Analyn, and Scott. I have to get going."

"I'm going go take her home. See you in 20 minutes ma."

We all said goodbye to them, and thy left out of the door.

Scott and I looked to each other and both said, "Fake."

"Hey, be nice. Give her a chance will you guys?"

"Mom, she looks like a slut and a bitch!" Scott saying crossing his arms.

"Yeah, she does."

"Come on, lets just see how she turns out. Plus, we just met her."

"Fine." We both said crossing our arms.

She probably won't be so bad after all.

I'll just have to see.
