Chapter Fourteen

Morgus laughed "do you think you can beat me Durnajar Midnite?" he asked.

Durnaa said "Morgus we will not play your little game anymore, you deserve to die and die you shall!"

Morgus looked at Durnaa "do you think you have any chance against ME ! out of my way fool!"

Durnaa looked Morgus straight in the eye "I have the power of Chaos you didn't know that did you? all you thought was that I had was only a little extra power, you didn't realise that I have the power of Chaos inside of me!"

Morgus said "I grow tired of your little game! Prince Durnaa! outta my way!"

Durnaa said "No!"

Morgus said "I grow bored of this!"

"Durnaa! what the hell are you doing!" Nova said behind him.

Durnaa looked at Nova "I know what I'm doing".

"Are you sure?" she asked.

Morgus said "you are both fools!" he clicked his fingers, the ground dropped out from under them again and they suddenly found themselves on the craggy battlements of Fort Greyrock.

It was heading towards dusk and it was snowing, Nova slipped in the hazardous footing, as did Durnaa.

Once Nova was down, Morgus started to attack her, Nova got to her feet and started attacking with her sword, ducking and weaving out of the way of Morgus's whirling blade.

Durnaa ran to Ajeea's side to see if his brother was alive, Ajeea was breathing and he bore a few wounds and appeared to be unconscious, but his wounds didn't seem fatal in anyway, he shook his brother "Ajeea!"

Ajeea moaned and then said weakly "I feel so weak".

"You Ok?" Durnaa asked.

Ajeea nodded "yes, help Nova, she can't fight him alone!"

"You don't move" Durnaa said "I'll help her".

"No Durnaa your too weak" Ajeea said.

"You are worse" Durnaa said.

"But Durnaa try not to fight!" Ajeea said.

Durnaa said "I will try to stay out of the fight".

"Don't let his sword touch you!" Ajeea said, then he collapsed again.

Durnaa turned to the fighters, Nova was holding her own, unlike Ajeea she had prepared herself more for the fight as she had a magical shield up around herself.

Morgus attacked her with his sword, Nova retaliated with expert skill as she put that entire practice into action, and all the training she had been given.

Durnaa picked up his sword and rushed forward, then raising it above his head he shouted, "you die Morgus!!"

He raised his hands and let loose that power within him, lines of purple fire shot out from his hands and sword and struck Morgus, sizzling his skin and he said "die!"

Morgus yelled in pain and turned his attention to Durnaa, Nova seeing this shouted "No! Durnaa keep out of the way!"

"I have to help you Nova!" Durnaa said "Talion's down, Ajeea's down and Sunlazer can't fight it's just you and I !"

"Who says I can't fight!" came Sunlazer's voice, from behind them pulled out a lighted sword.

"Sunlazer!" Nova said.

Sunlazer said "we haven't got time to talk!"

Morgus said "you'll pay for this Durnaa!" Morgus raised his own hands and shot out magic missiles at him, Durnaa instinctively ducked but as they hit him they automatically disappeared.
