'you're room is a mess' I stated as I opened the door to Blake's room
'I was busy with homework' he seems pretty convinced of himself.
I turned around with that look that tells him that I don't believe him, 'okay maybe I was just lazy'
'see that I believe' I walked in his room, stepping over all his clothes and letting myself fall on his bed.
'who's lazy now?' Blake chuckles as he sits on the bed with his back to the headboard.
'we both are' I turned on by back zo I could look at him.
'Jesus Christ, why do you always have to smart me out' he exclaims, letting his hands fall on his legs
'when are you going to accept that I'm just smarter than you' I smirked
'when you stop being so pretty' he smirks back
'so you've already accepted it' I raise my eyebrows and nod slowly
'woah woah woah' he holds his hands up 'are you saying you're not pretty''
'I'm saying you already accepted it that I'm smarted than you' I stand up from his bed and start to clean his room, it's a habit when I'm anxious.
And why am I anxious you may ask, well first of all I basically told Blake that I am very insecure. And second of all, he's probably going to compliment me and I don't really know how to react to compliments.
'you don't think you're pretty don't you?' he asks
I shrug as I started folding a few hoodies that were laying on the ground.
'well let me tell you Christina, I've seen a lot of girls'
I scoff and roll my eyes.
'but you' he lets out a long breath 'you're different in the best way possible'
I turned around to him while biting my lips, how the fuck do I react to this?
'You're funny, you're goofy, you're cheesy. You don't give me dirty looks when you step in my messy room, you give me a hug every time you see me even though you know I won't give you one back. You're the most caring girl I've very met. You are ama-'
'stop' I turn around, my cheeks blushing red.
Blake just smirks as he stands up from his bed. 'you don't know how to react do you'
'I don't, so stop complimenting me' I turn around, 'I won't believe them anyway' I added mumbling.
'I know you won't believe them' Blake sits on the desk chair I was standing next to.
'you do?' I ask, while holding a cologne bottle.
'I have known you for 5 months now, I have been you're boyfriend for a month, I know you pretty well Christina' he narrows his eyes
'okay' I sigh 'well than stop because you know I'm uncomfortable right now'
'I'm not going to stop because even though you won't believe what I'm telling you, I need you to hear them and know they're true' he tells me
This is actually really sweet.
'okay, I believe that believe that you believe those things are true' I look at him
'they are true' he nodded quick 'because I see the way you are yourself, and how you act like you're an open book so people don't ask about how you see yourself'
I looked him, am I that transparent?
'I know that, not because it's obvious, don't worry. I just pay attention to what you and your friends talk about and how you react when someone asks a question and how you react to a compliment. If you some those things up you'll find out you're that much of an open book.' He keeps telling me
I sigh and keep cleaning his room.
'can you please stop cleaning my room?' he then asks
'I though I'd never hear that sentence come out of your mouth' I smile at him
'don't change the topic' he shakes his head.
Well, that escalated quickly.
'Christina, I know you even better than I know myself. And that's because you're interesting and I enjoy observing you and watching you do a simple thing as smile' he looks at me.
I'm still really uncomfortable but because I can't clean his room I'm playing with the hem on my shirt.
'come here' he grabs my hands and pulls them so I basically fall on his lap.
'I'd rather stand' I want to stand up again but he holds me tight so I don't have a chance to.
'I know you don't believe a single word from what I just said. But I'm going to tell you them so many times you'll beg me to stop but I'll only stop when you believe them, and when you're proud of who you are, and what you look like'
I close my eyes and hang my head low.
'Blake' I mumble 'that was really sweet'
I look up to him smiling, which he does rarely so automatically I start smiling too.
'you're beautiful Christina' he tells me
I bite on my lip and look down
'and really hot when you do that' he adds
A light chuckle leaves my lips as I look up to him
'you're special Blake, and beautiful and sweet and so much more than what you show people'
'hey, this was my time to compliment you' he frowns
I chuckle and smile wide
'I know but I just needed you to know' I look at him.
'whatever you want' he smirked
I smiled back at him as our forehead touched.
'you're beautiful Christina' he whispered
'stop' I giggle
'no, you very bea-'
I pressed my lips against his to stop him, Jesus Christ.
