time hop: 3 months.
lorens' point of view:on the bright side of all that's happened is, me and harvey are stronger than ever. literally. after the situation happened we started going to the gym once a week turning into two and now sometimes three times. as a couple, the situation has made us stronger.
on the dark side, they never found him. to this day, they say they're still looking but we all know they've stopped. it gets hard, truthfully. i'm scared to walk alone at stores. if i go anywhere i rely on my friends or have to wait on my mom, no way in hell i am ever taking an uber again.
for harvey, it's different. this situation has changed him, he isn't as carefree as he used to be. with me, at least, he's the same harvey, but in public he's changed.. he's scared. he checks over his shoulder at least three to four times on each block we walk down, gripping my hand with all his might as if the wind could just sweep me away. i don't blame him though, getting kidnapped i guess can do that to a person.
"hi honey," i smiled placing a kiss on harvey's head.
"hey," he replied bluntly.
"what's wrong?" i asked swallowing the rest of my lemonade.
"just in a mood i can't really shake today, i don't know," he sighed shrugging shoulders.
"up with nightmares again?" i asked frowning as i gave his hand a light squeeze. he looked away as if he was ashamed to admit it, so i took the chance to change the subject, "well, me being the best girlfriend ever i brought you click fil a!" i cheered and he looked at me with relief in his eyes
"you really are the best, i am starving!"
"here you go, one 12 piece nugget with fries and a coke," i smiled handing it to him.
"date night?" he asked with a mouth-full of food.
"ew gross," i chuckled handing him a napkin, "but yes, of course. which movie?" i asked getting up to the tv.
"you pick i don't really care, as long as i am with you," i can't help but feel safe with harvey. how can you not when he's so pure and genuine?
"okay let's go with, the breakfast club, such a classic, never gets old."
"true, now come here," he smiled with his mouth still full.
"oh boy.."
"okay im sorry," he quickly swallowed and then smiled.
"better," i smiled as i jumped onto the couch into his arms.
"this is really how life is suppose to be."
"it really is," i smiled snuggling closer into his side, "where ever you are is where i want to be."
