Today
I took a stroll in the community park. It's a quick, short break
From the noisy
Smoke filled
Jammed city.It has trees, Krishna.
A few swings
And a little lake, too!How wonderful is that!
I was wandering
Amongst the green
When I noticed
With a twinkle of delight
A little blue bird.So small, yet
Stole glances.
It perched on the branch
Of a banyan.I relished my eyes
And was about to resume
My stroll.When
I saw the little creature
Lick his
Butter smeared feathers
With unimaginable delight.And then
It looked at me.
It kept looking at me.Good one, Krishna.
I almost didn't recognise you this time.
Try harder.
