And then there was the day you died.
They made you a pyre
Of timber
Sandalwood and all flowers.
Set it aflame
Let you burnSo simply
Like Draupadi burnt for vengeance
Like I burnt in grief here
They let you burn. They say you were so beautiful
Even in death you emanated radiance
From your dark bodyMillions wept
CriedBut I was happy
Those vapours of your pyre
Going gracefully up there
Made me dance.Wonder what is so negative about death?
It is just you
Going back home
To my arms.
Just a beautiful beginning,
With absolutely no end.
