[[Chapter 2 Done]]

We got out of Craig's car and walked into the little ice cream parlor, Craig told me about this place once he said it was cheap but really good, plus it was like never really busy which is crazy to me cause he always boasts about the amazing ice cream they sell, It can't be that special right? Unless it's homemade which I highly doubt.

We got here before the other three, we sat and waited in the big booth. Soon Evan parked his car and walked into the parlor with Luke and another, they sat across from us in the big booth. I automatically smiled when I watched Luke walk in, god why am I like this?

"This is Jon" Luke said pointing to his shy friend who waved.

"I'm Tyler"

"Craig pleased to meet you"

"Ryan"

"I know you, you're in my science class" He said to me smiling slightly.

"Oh your that Jon"

Jon was in my science class, he wasn't the smartest kid but he really did try, he was often quiet though, I've never seen him talk to anyone before in class, I'm glad he's got a great friend like Luke- god I gotta stop.

Everyone smiled as we then all walked up to the counter with the register and cashier. Tyler was the first to order,

"Can I have strawberry, two scoops, waffle cone please?"

"Yup"

Craig went next,

"Can I just have one scoop of chocolate in a bowl?"

"sure"

I wasn't sure what to get so I let Evan go before me "chocolate sundae please"

"yes sir"

Jon went next, he was fidgety standing beside Evan, was he scared? Nervous of new people? Anxious? I can relate.

"Oreo ice cream float p-please"

"yup"

Luke was still thinking beside me. "Hey, it's Ryan right?"

"what? oh yeah, my names Ryan, you're Luke right" I already knew who he was but we never really formally met, so I didn't want to seem like a stalker.

"I'm surprised you're asking what my name is, everyone already knows me."

I wish I could slap myself, he just chuckled and I just looked at the floor.

"Hey I'm just messing around with ya, but what ya getting? wanna just split like a sundae or funnel cake?"

"oh, um.. sure... what about a banana split?"

"sounds good, one banana split please"

"sure"

we all paid, I paid for half of our split while Luke paid his half, then we all sat back in the booth Luke sat across from me so we could share it easier, it was kind of like a fantasy dream come true, something you'd only see in romance movies, even though this seemed really cliche, it was perfect for me.

The waitress then brought us all of our ice creams and smiled at me and Luke sweetly, weird right, it's like she knew something we didn't... was there something on my face? I pulled out my phone and used the black screen to check, there was nothing so that's off the table for why she smiled.

We talked, laughed, ate ice cream and just overall had a good time.... is this what having more than one friend feels like? Is this was popularity feels like? Everyone laughing at your jokes and making you smile.... if it is then I wish it would never end, I wish I could hang out with Luke all the time...
