~Fictitious Reality 2~ a DDLC fanfic

Part 3: New Trouble.

The 3 Dokis look at Monika. To be quite truthful, it would only be reasonable that this would be a moment of utter silence. Not only had they found out that their lives were fictional and changed, but found out that you and Monika were the reasons for everything happening in the first place, but mostly Monika in terms of the game's events.

Sayori runs up to Monika, and hugs her. They both begin to cry, as the others join in. Monika felt guilt and sorrow for what she had done, while the others were an utter mess of emotions. Nevertheless, Sayori and the others forgave and still love Monika even after everything that had happened.

You were witnessing everything from your phone, and you couldn't help but feel relief knowing that the Dokis were finally at peace with each other. You then heard typing in another room. John, Mark, and some other friends were typing away at a computer. You and Craig approach them, but to find out that they were tampering with other games.

"What are you guys doing?" You ask.

"Hahahaha, nothing Y/N." A friend replies, laughing.

You look at the screen to see that more fictional characters from games were being spawned. Before your eyes was an army of blocky characters. Half consisting of characters with a blue shirt and green pants, while the other wore a blue shirt and jeans. The "leaders" of the "armies" approach each other.

"do you are have stupid" one says.

"Die" the other replies.

The leader wearing jeans punches the green pants wearing leader down the stairs. He makes an unintelligible screech as he falls. A war begins, as crusaders are being printed.

"Guys, this needs to stop!" You say.

But it was already too late, more random things were being printed out so fast, the lighting of the camera begins to be changed. You see an illuminating circle above the printer, shutting the camera off.

Oh God, your brother was right. This was messing around with the balance of the universe.

Suddenly, Doki Doki Literature Club opens itself up. You decide to play it as the others watch in silence. You thought that music was from the third act, but quickly realized it was a familiar tune from a game made over 20 years before DDLC. It was a chilling tune, and you noticed that the background's sky were clouds slowly moving. You click the right arrow, making Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki walk.

Each of the Dokis have a unique walking animation: Sayori walked cheerfully, Natsuki did a small hop, while Yuri would check her surroundings. The cycle of walking lasted for quite some time, but you soon saw a message in the sky.

Why did you all ignore me?

Soon after, you noticed a silhouette slowly appear on screen. The character had the DDLC character design, but not something you'd recognize right off the bat. After the shadowy figure had fully appeared, her colors slowly appeared. To your surprise, this was the new Monika. Her hair was down, and her eyes were a dull grayish blue. Her look was devoid of any emotion.

After a few seconds, the Monika replacement faded out, and a male character with a ghastly appearance flies towards the three, killing them off. Horrified, you look at your phone to hear Monika scream. The three Dokis had their skin turn pale with white eyes, and collapsed beside her. She looked at the computer's monitor, noticing that the replacement Monika was starting at her.

"Is this the girl everyone bashed me for not being?" She asks.

"Yours truly!" Monika replies.

"It's quite funny, actually." The replacement says. "Your game was mediocre, yet people remember it because of your cliche behavior and actions. And when that sorry excuse of a man knew having a waifu wasn't good enough, he decides to ruin everyone else's life. What you and those developers did to me is inexcusable!"

This pissed Monika off. Nobody gets away with bashing you that easily.

"At least they remember what made the game stand out! You and your dead boyfriend make what made the game great in the first place lose all of its meaning!" Monika replies.

Suddenly, the ghastly figure appears.

"You DARE speak maliciously of my love and I?!" He shouts. "I'll rip your bloody limbs off one by one!"

You open the game's directory, and delete their character files.

"Good riddance." You say.

"I never thought I'd approve of you deleting my file", Monika jokingly says.

However, the computer began to buzz. Your eyes widen in horror, and you tell Monika to look behind her. The replacement Monika (along with her ghost boyfriend) were about to ambush her. You run up the stairs and out the door.

Haha, cliffhanger for this chapter! This story is a mixture of being serious and comedic, which I like. Have a great day!
