~Fictitious Reality 2~ a DDLC fanfic

Part 5: Reunion.

Silence. That's what remained as you woke up. You noticed there was no impact on where you landed, and no people by you. The sky seemed to be in a rapid loop between the sunrise, sunset, and darkness. You go to your friend's house and attempt to open the door, but only to find out it's locked.

You look behind you to see the world being erased as a stairwell appears.

Were you dying? Is this really the end of your journey with your lovely girlfriend? Times good and bad will always come to and end, right?

No, this can't be it. You can't die now, you don't want Monika and your friends to live without you!

You begin to run, as fast as your body will allow you to. You begin to reach your body's limit, but notice that the limit is fading away. You look down and see that your legs weren't even touching the ground, your momentum was increasing. You saw a light open up before your eyes, and you dash right into it.

You gasp for air, lunging forward. You look down to see some cracks from where you had landed, and then look up to see Monika.

She holds you in an embrace and begins to cry, for she had thought that you had died from the blast. The other members (along with Monika) help you back up, it's been one hell of a night, right?

Later on, you all decide to boot the game back up and see that all four Dokis are there, looking normal. The Monika replacement tells you how horrible she feels, along with her awareness of her mistakes. She apologizes for everything she's done, knowing she will spend the rest of eternity in the game.

You and Monika hesitantly forgive her, and delete the game from the computer, so that timeline will be freed from their torment.

Afterwards, you left your friend's house, and returned back home.
