Jean Cruxho
I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I looked outside my door and saw Rochata walking up the stairs. He began to head to my sister’s room, and I instantly busted out of my room and stopped him.
“So Rochata, where are you going?” I asked protectively.
“I’m going to talk to Raven. Why is that a problem?” He asked.
I wasn’t about to allow him to go to my sister’s room without supervision. I mean it’s common sense for a brother to worry about his sister. I was so deep in thought the only thing that got me out of it was the slamming of Raven’s door.
“Rochata! Get back here!” I shouted as I slammed into Raven’s door. Raven responded with slamming back against the door, preventing me from entering. She wouldn’t budge, and to add onto that, she used her magic to keep it shut. She had the same power as I and the same power as Luke. I knew I could trust her, but it was Rochata I did not. I didn’t know his background at all. As far as I knew he was in league with the demons that attacked the village our little family was from. I heard a clicking noise come through the door, and I twisted the door knob only to find it lock.
“You trust me, now trust him!” Raven called through the door.
