CHAPTER 43 - CAUGHT IN A LIE

Namjoon's POV

"Ugh." I woke up with a severe headache.

I had too many drinks last night. I swear to not drink again.

I dragged myself into the bathroom to wash up because I feel like throwing up to the smell of alcohol in my body.

Aish! This headache is no fun. Wait, is this Y/N's?

I walk over the sink and saw her bag and her phone.

Is she still here?

I look at my watch and it's almost 10 am. I scan the room hoping to see her sleeping somewhere but she's nowhere to be found. So went down the hotel to look for her.

Where are you?

My heart started beating so fast and got worried when I saw her heels, one is lying on the pavement beside the road and the other one is near a garbage can which is not too far from the hotel.

Is she kidnapped?

I can't even call her because her phone is here.

What happened to you Y/N? Where are you?

I ran inside the hotel to ask the staff from the reception if someone saw her but none of them did. How is that even possible? What are the guards doing that they don't know who enter and leave the place.

"Can I use the phone?" I ask the front desk. I should call the police, right?

"Seoul Gangnam police station, how may I help you?" The person from the other line answered.

"I want to report a missing person. Her name is Y/N Y/LN, she's around 160-165cm tall, a short hair, shoulder length, and she has a pretty face... like very pretty. She was wearing a black-"

"Sir, please calm down. How long has she been missing?" I paused for a while thinking when was the last time I saw her.

I can't remember shit.

"Last night. She was with me last night but when I woke up this morning I don't see her anywhere. Her shoes are scattered outside the hotel where we were staying so I'm sure that she's missing. Maybe kidnapped!" I explain.

"Sir, we can't make a report about a missing person if it hasn't been 24 hours since the person was gone." What the fuck is he saying?

"What!?" I shouted. "What if something happened to her already? Don't give me an excuse that doesn't even make sense! She is missing so find her and make a fucking report!" I'm filled with worry and anger right now. What will I do if something really happened to her?

"Sir, sorry but that's the protocol. I'm sorry again." I slammed the phone making the people around turn their heads to me.

This will not work. I'll have to look for her myself if that's the only way.

Y/N's POV

I've reached my room quickly kicking the shoes Hoseok have put on me.

"No, don't have hopes , don't have hopes Y/N."

I ran into the bathroom to quickly take a shower.

"I did kiss you..." Remembering what happened back at the hotel, I roughly wipe my lips with the soap.

"Shit. This is not gonna work." I jumped out of the shower and brushed my teeth.

As if it will erase the memory! You're so dumb! Why did you kiss him back!
