CHAPTER 11 - SICKENING SICK

Y/N's POV

I'm sitting in a bench in the park just outside the hospital watching the kids play around. It's still a little bright as the sun sets.

Unknown #: (Y/N where are you?)

Huh? Who must it be? Maybe it's Jha.

I didn't record the numbers of the sim cards we bought here since i'm always with my friends and they are the only people who knows this number anyway.

Me: (Outside the hospital near the park.)

Unknown #: (Okay. I will go there.)

I put down my phone. My head still hurts but I feel a little better now that I have time to breath.

I'm smiling while I watch the kids play. They look so cute and innocent in their own worlds, they don't have to think of any problems at all. They just have to be kids, enjoying and laughing with their friends. I feel jealous that I can't do that right now there's just so much thing that's going on.

I received another text.

Unknown #: (Joy is awake now. The doctor said that she is fine and we can discharge her any time after paying her bills.)

Thank GOD! I should buy food before going back.

I reached for my wallet to see how much money we have. We gather all our money to budget it for Joy's hospital bills and our food.

Shit. We don't have enough. Aish! Why does she have to faint! I can't... Ahhh! This girl is making us go crazy. What will we do?

I dialed my mom's number. "Mama..."

Mom: "Oh my! My daughter called me! How are you my baby?"

"I'm fine but Joy is not." I'm so ready for her scolding and shouting.

Mom: "What!? What happened!?" My mom becomes hysterical. This is the reason why I don't want them to know about this. Our moms tend to overact things.

"She fainted earlier in the fan meeting and we are in the hospital now but she's fine now mama. Don't worry we will discharge her later." I'm doing my best for her not to panic.

Mom: "Oh my gosh! Why didn't you call me earlier? Does her mom know? I knew this would happen! We shouldn't have let you kids go by yourselves!" she's screaming at the other side of the line that I have to put my phone away from my ear.

"No mama, her mom doesn't know yet. I called you first."

Mom: "Yah! You only call me when you have a problem! You always forget me when you are having fun!" there she goes.

"Mama, can you scold me later? We are facing some problem right now. I'm sorry."

Mom: "What's your problem now?" she's mad but she still cares my mama is so cute.

"We don't have enough money for the rest of our stay here because Joy's hospital bill takes our entire budget." I don't really want to tell her but I can't let my friends and I starve for 5 days. We've been here for 2 days but we are already broke.

Mom: "I'll talk to your friends' mom and we'll send you the money tomorrow morning."

"Thank you mama I can always count on you. I love you!" I smiled forgetting for a moment the pain in my head. I already miss her.

Mom: "Stop acting cute I'm still mad at you. You're grounded when you get back. Don't starve yourselves! I love you too." Ahh my mom is so sweet.
