I was shocked and heartbroken of Layla's story she was shrunk back into her seat as I place a hand on her shoulder.
"Is that why you were uncomfortable around us?" I asked.
She nodded, "I've been trying to be more confident if I be on my own and control this power in my own kind." She explained as I nodded.
"But, at least you've learned how to control it without causing a scene. Your getting better at it!" I chuckled as she sighs and nods.
"I guess."
"Cheer up. At least you'll be fighting in the tournament of power." I smiled.
"Well, I suppose I could be on your team and not to forget that your hype about this. Better go look for some other teammates as well." She said.
"All right!" I brought her in a warm hug as slowly returns it.
"See you at the tournament." She waved before leaving as I sighed.
'Geez, I never even had the guts to tell her how I feel. I'll tell her soon.' I thought.
